I've only seen AW and Necromancer banners in PUGS. My Katari has 56 and Elementalist 32, all the rest are in teens or twenties. I loved having my blood pack Monster banner in ME3MP, and that people thought I was good... even though the majority of the blood pack characters were the stronger characters to play with (Batguard, Vorcha Soldier, Krogan Sentinel, Batarian Soldier, Krogan Shaman). I don't imagine feeling as much pride for a character banner in DAIMP even if I make it to 250 completions with one of them.

I have the Keeper banner, my favorite class.  Elementalist is the next closest.

 

I spread the rest out between Legionaire, Templar, Alchemist and Assassin.

I've had Archer for a while and I just got Hunter. Arcane Warrior or Legionnaire is next, since they're both around 110/250.

Not yet possess the katari alchemist and reaver, the banner of the new characters are already almost guaranteed (if only 250 matches) will possibly be more than that, right  Mr Luke Barrett

Necro was my first banner.  Then I got archer without really going after it.  It was the quickest and easiest way for me to get cunning promotions back then but I think Isabela has now taken his place.  I love completing the banner challenges because they are a sure way of familiarizing oneself with the classes, especially the less popular ones.  Hunter's banner is definitely my fave by far.  I still have 5 more of the original classes to complete and I'm still enjoying myself in the process

That's one way to do it, but it can also be the fastest way for you to get bored.  A good option if you can't find any lobbies to join, otherwise I'd recommend just playing normally =)

My closest is the archer at 125 and I'm bored to death of him (and I didn't realize I had that many extractions with him). My next Necromancer with below 50, I think.

 

Plus I like perilous but I extract 50/50.

I have a necro banner and both assassin and keeper at 100. A bunch around 40-50 except Lego and katari and alchemist rarely played those. I mainly pugged perilous or threatening when lvl 1 but have not time to really play the last month. Look forward to getting back in with the new classes.

The fastest, best and most efficient way of doing anything in this game is to play with friends. To enjoy while grinding the banner also helps.

My 12 classes are between 92-98 (I level fairly evenly).

Will have the badges (@100) fairly soon.

That's around 1,000 successful missions, only 1,500 to go to get the banners...

The FASTEST way is xprun Routine lobbies. If you do it with a friend with good stats then you can cut the time down to 7 mins per game (9 mins if you loot chests). If you don't have a friend then lobby-hopping is the second fastest method (i.e. don't wait all day on other ppl readying up).

You suffer stat promo progression from staying on Routine. You should switch up the Threatening when you hit lvl14 or so unless you don't mind grinding out your higher levels. You can maintain both fast bannering and stat progression by playing Threatening, but if you spend the majority of your time pugging then I wouldn't recommend it (at least until all the players who came back to play DS dlc get bored and stop playing again).

I rotate characters often as well, so I am not particularly close to any banner.

The best I have is Necromancer - 119 and Keeper - 109.

The rest sits somewhere between 30 - 50.

Well my highest is like 125 or so, everyone else is between 30-60ish. So I won't ever get any 250 banner.

Like the gold collected challenges for individual maps, I think the number of completed operations was set WAAAY too high for banner attainment. Even on Routine, your typical run takes 7-10 minutes. That's between 30-42 hours you have to put in constantly with just one character to get their respective banner. I'd much rather have 100 completed operations. For comparison, the EXP gained challenges attached to each character is set very low, and can be completed in a very short number of operations.

It will be quite a while still for me I imagine.  I play all classes almost equally so even though I play the game a lot my actual completes for each class are nothing to write home about.

I cycle through the same classes depending on the make-up of the party I'm in but I have pretty clear favorites. I worked to get Templar because it was the closest to 250 by doing speed runs on routine for the last 40. The friend I play with most days is methodically working his way through each class so I expect to get there eventually.

Funnily enough I haven't played the archer classes much but I've always gotten tons of bows in chests. I have 6 Griffon bows and 2 PBTM (over 10 Perserverance but I trash those now) vs no Caliban for my Templar (who at least got the Dragon longsword in the last victory chest).

As you said 250 games is a lot and with so many kits and being new I like to try a number of them, it will be a while although I do love the hunter, he is my favorite and at the moment the most powerful with the Griffon...
