Have the Ele and Keeper banners, still a couple dozen games shy of Necro.

Alchemist: 42

Arcane Warrior: 16

Archer: 28

Assassin: 42

Elementalist: 53

Hunter: 38

Katari: 40

Keeper: 50

Legionnaire: 39

Necromancer: 24

Reaver: 25

Templar: 26

...what can I say, I need the variation. So no character banners for me anytime soon.

Wow, you may want to pick a different text color. I'm using the dark forum theme and the gray font is impossible to read without highlighting.

I actually thought it was a blank post at first!

Haha, I didn't consciously edit the text color, I just copy pasted silentkills post and edited the numbers because I'm lazy. I didn't even notice that there was another text color :P

edit: you can have other forum themes?

edit2: nvm, found it.

Legionnaire: 104

Necromancer: 104

Reaver: 108

Templar: 122

Some of the better classes actually have lower numbers because I am much more apt to play them on perilous quicker than the classes I play poorly.

I'm barely getting close to getting some of the portraits for some of the characters, so nope, no character banners at all, lol.

I tend to mostly play with randoms, so completions can be bit of a chore, even on threatening. There's been many a game when I have been the last one standing on the boss and I technically could have finished it but flat out refused to solo the whole thing.

Back when camping the potion room was all the rage before bioware locked the door, I even had one dude send me hate mail after I solo'd 90 percent of the boss wave after they all died out in that room because I didn't camp it with them. So, yeah, soon not worth it. Most of them were on their last lives and I knew they didn't have the dps nor the tank to hold it, the only made it that far to begin with because I dragged them kicking and screaming.

My hunter is the closest to the portrait, keeper, Templar, and elemental is are all close behind.

Please Bioware, if you read this, is there any possible way to reduce the number required to get a character banner? Or is it set in stone?

Make threatening give you more credit than routine and perilous more than threatening like in the weekend completion challenges.

Ya that makes sense, or as previously stated, based on promotions. Like 15 promotions to get the banner

all complain that the game is easy, we need a new difficulty, even more so people do not stop to ask shortcuts to things that look hard, just play the game, not out of obligation but for fun (with preference of friends) the  things flowing faster (for everything) ;)

Wish the count was less than 250 tho. Seems excessive. 100 is high but seems fairer

hopefully the new characters...

Count me as fine with how it is currently. Both my Keeper and Ele banners took 25 promotions to earn, Necro will be around 30 when I'm done with her.

I wouldn't mind too much changing the weighting, say Routine being worth a half game, Threatening 1, and Perilous 1.5.

What I'd really like to see is a separate banner for Overall Promotions.

Nowhere close, I think the Lego and Elementalists are both over 100 for me but no one else is even close.

I rather like the idea of promotions rather than completions. Completions for most non uber-mensch/ soloing perilous types are a factor of team ability as opposed to individual ability and as a consistent PUGer I've "lost" dozens of completions to teams I can "pull" through 4 levels well enough but lack the mad skills or purple gear to get across the finish line.

Reduce from 250 games? You can see on this thread that many of us have character banners. All it takes is to play more. People who have played for many hours will have them (virtually anyone on the leaderboards will have multiple banners), people who have played less are still working to get them, but It is nothing unreachable, far from it. Besides, this game is 7 months old, let's not forget some of us have worked hard to get the banners we have. It is unfair to reduce the number required at this point,

With the way I play these kinds of games, rotating the characters frequently, I'll never unlock any banner in the game's life-time.

Completing 250 games with a character seems really high. I'd like the hunter's banner but I won't be sinking god knows how many hours into completing 250 games with him.

Oh, you will.

I want to be able to repeat the challenges (without getting prestige for it), just so I can track what my data is. Remember how ME3 challenges and such can be repeated? I want to know just how many ops my Katari really has been on, and how much wealth I have earned total.

I'm just glad there are no banners for the [Location] Riches challenges. I only played on weekends for a long time, so they're all around 30% complete and, at this rate, always will be. I haven't played a single game outside of Fereldan Castle since it became available.

I'd be a little upset if they did this after grinding the Katari for 250 wins.  I would be on board for each character having a few banners.  Like after 100 completions you get one, but the character looks sad...like Iron Bull's character card after a certain mission.  Then you get the awesome one at 250 completions.

I'd like some cool unique armor or something too.

I do think that if you get a perilous win, that it should count toward routine and threatening completions.  I'm working toward 250 perilous completions...I have 250 for threatening...yet still do not have 250 routine banner.  Seems silly.

Just curious to how many people have a characters banner, I feel they are rare to see. And the only ones I recall seeing in PUGs being the Keeper, Necro and AW.

Arcane Warrior - done (obviously)

Archer - done

Hunter - done

except ones below, all others are 100+

Keeper @ 91

Assassin @ 35

Templar @ 12

I reckon I am somewhere in the region of 1500 games, which in my book makes me crazy addicted considering I have a 40hr/wk job, wife and 2 kids.

Alchemist was surprisingly fun to play taunting and freezing everything

AW - done

Keeper, ele, lego all around 200

Everything else 100+ except hunter

Pretty much all done in pugs so classes with more tactical control get played more on perilous.

The 250 req is fine, its purely esthetic .

Hunter - Done

Assassin - Done

AW - Done

Legionnaire - Done

Reaver - Done

Everyone else 100+

One thing I would say is by the time you reach 250 with a character, you know that character in 10 different builds inside and out.
