     I've been having a hard time deciding who to romance, and I was wondering who do you think is the best romance?

It depends on your character, I think. A lot of times I pick whoever fits with the character I have in mind the most, you know?

 

All the romances have their pros and cons, really. I would say Solas was the one I became most attatched to though.

I've romanced Dorian, Blackwall, and Bull.  I'd put them in that order.  Dorian's romance is great.

 

However, I've also heard that Cassandra's romance is really top notch.

But I also agree , depand what charachter you are planning and what you want really . They all seem good and the only wall would be if they are to your taste or not .

I personally adored Cassandra’s. I’ll even say it’s my favorite out of all of Bioware’s romances.

She initially comes across as a very harsh, brash warrior (I believe the very first time we’re introduced to her is when she’s interrogating and threatening poor ol’ Varric, no?), and is very honest, determined, and straightforward (sometimes brazenly so).
 

As you travel with her, however, you get to see past that to a woman who is passionately driven, an unwavering protector, and a loyal companion.
 

Her romance lets you peel back even another layer to reveal a romantic heart under all the bad-ass armor. I had the most stupid grin on my face through the whole scene where you catch her reading smut

Not sure whether this is your first playthrough or not, so I'll start by saying Solas and elaborate in the spoiler tag. Endgame spoilers below:

I think playing as an elf and romancing Solas really enhances the story being told in this game. Him breaking up with you is further salt in the wound caused by his leaving the group and the ultimate reveal at the end. That, combined with all of the elven lore littered throughout makes a Lavellan Inquisitor the most interesting, IMO.  Should the Inquisitor ever have the chance to catch up to Solas, those that romanced him should have a much more passionate encounter than those that didn't. Also you get to make out with a god. How crazy is that?

 

My first playthrough was a Trevelyan that romanced Cassandra, and I also found that pretty enjoyable. Her character arc from the aggressive, battle-hardened, hand of the Divine that drags you into the game in shackles to the delicate, romantic, poetry-loving woman is pretty rewarding.

 

But my canon playthrough is Lavellan/Solas. Whether his romance is the "best" is certainly up for debate, but his being most relevant to the main plot is undeniable IMO.

I think most were well done. Though I'll say that I didn't like Sera.

Throwing in a vote for Cullen here as I think it has some of the best pacing of the three that I've played (Cullen, Blackwall, Solas). Blackwall's is nice, too, but that judgement scene is just awkward. I really like Solas but the pacing for his romance is too fast. I mean I've had him confess his love for my Lavellan not long after reaching Skyhold.

I don't really understand why people ask for other opinions on things like this. Just because I think Dorian's romance is the bee's knees doesn't mean you will also.

 

But, I'll play along and say Dorian anyway... if you want to go for a m/m romance that is.
