I don't want to be that guy but should OG Messiah really be saying this? You ride for BioWare pretty hard.

I am back, feel my wrath.  Besides y'all didn't let me fanboy for them in peace.

You should give us a share of money that Bioware gives you to defend their products.

Tetris is quite a challenging game, one never knows when the A.I. subroutine suddenly decides to launch soybeans or toilets your way. Just ask this guy.

Because it couldn't be true that I simply just like their stuff.

This raises an interesting thought. Shouldn't House get that same benefit of the doubt?

You are implying that you all somehow gave me the benefit of the doubt.  Ah double standards and all.

Is your apparent opposition to non-BioWare praise supposed to help your case?

Your false assumption is that I am somehow against non-bioware praise.  I was playing your precious TW3 for several hours last night.  Did the baron quest last night.

No, I'm completely open, I just don't think that it's right to ask that question in such a way because it's an over-simplification.

"Don't think it's right to ask that question in such a way..."?

I asked you how our present knowledge of science could ever lead you to believe that something like the Reapers might exist. You're the one who said it was plausible. You made the claim, it's your job to back it up.

No worse than your false assumption that TW3 is somehow "my precious". The difference between me and you is that you made a show of calling somebody a fanboy for praising TW3. I've not made a show of praising TW3.

I never said such thing. I said that it's trying to imagine how things will be in the future and how things will be different. And then i explained how that sort of imagination occurs. The way they're answering the questions science is currently not able to answer by using state-of-the-art imaginative narrative. That means that they're using their imagination to create the science of the future, To create new substances and new ways of approaching the challenges that we're currently facing and that's why it's accurate.

Lol @ state of the art imaginative narrative. It's not that serious.

Do I need to remind you of how often you, house, and your entire little clique used to hijack the ME forums.  And you always make a point to obsess about me.

It is. It's just like superhero movies for example, The fictional story Marvel has achieved in its cinematic universe is brilliant, Yet people see it as popcorn only. Because it has the potential to be seen as just a popcorn flick. That doesn't mean that it's a popcorn flick. There was that quote from "Birdman", A thing is a thing, Not what's said of that thing. But when it came to imaginative movies like Tomorrowland which originality made it obvious that the material can not be falsely seen as popcorn, They didn't do well in the box office.

in·ex·is·tent

  (ĭn′ĭg-zĭs′tənt)

adj.
Having no existence; nonexistent.

So Dragon age 2 had no content apparently. I know a lot of it was filler with no relation to the main plot but it definitely had content.

Man you can't put two words together and make up a concept.

So DA2 had no content? Like... nothing at all?

I don't get it.

You do not read the links you two, do you?

You're the OG Messiah. I can't help it. And Mass Effect is completely irrelevant to your misinformation about my opinion of The Witcher 3. Which is completely inexistent.

Because it's not a popcorn flick it's brilliant? That's a strange mindset to have. If that's the case than anything pretentious and "deep" would be brilliant. Not just talking about Mass Effect here.

@bold: Yes you did.

@italics: No you didn't. That supposed explanation is what I've been asking for this entire time.

Because it's a subjective storytelling. For example, I don't like Chris Nolan's narrative style, But that doesn't make his movies bad, It's just that i don't like them. It's just a subjective taste. The idea here is that some movies/vidogames have the potential to be seen as something they are not because its material could be easily misinterpreted. Therefore, The people see it as fan service, Throw away popcorn. And they fail to see its subjective quality. Or any of its depth.
