I just use LBOTG , don't know how to use other bows effectively on the hunter
Any build ideas for using dragon bow/BOCR/PBTM on the hunter ??

Griffon, this kit is insane and by far my favorite, my lord he can do some serious damage, that spike trap he has saved me a lot of times:)

BOCR no stealth ability spam: leaping shot, explosive, spike trap, throwing blades. A tool for every situation.

Punched by the maker ftw.

Punched by the maker ftw.
This.
I have griffon too but a +21 cunning and +11 dex grip is too much to pass up.
The archer can have griffon to himself.

On the dragon I am able to get basic auto attack damage of 1.5 k .. Because all three arrows hit and the pincushion interaction ..
Will be interesting to try the build of learnedhand
Just wondering if there is any other better build then this ..

I'm going to try Trepanner's Requital with Full Draw, and see if that explodes everything.

Current build (I normally run with explosive shot, toxic cloud and throwing knives but trying something new)-
Weapon: PbtM
ACTIVES (all upgraded): Explosive Shot (plus ability ring), Spike Trap, Elemental Mines, Stealth
PASSIVES (not counting stuff on main path to other things): On Razor's Edge, Set Them Up, Knife in the Shadows

Trepanner's Requital on a Hunter built for CQC archery.
When an ehemy explodes because you grapple-kicked them. . .shizz so cash.
Leaping Shot, Hook and Tackle, Evade, and whatever I want for the last one: Usually Stealth or maybe Full Draw.

I occasionally do 2-2.5k aoe spirit damage when killing an enemy with Full Draw. I specced for max critical damage bonus (rings, bow upgrade) + stamina amulet

I find the PBTM walking bomb explosions in large groups are more effective than two shotting everything with the griffon...![]()

Trepanner's Requital with 54% critical damage grip. Can´t decide if it´s better then Griffon or not.

Quite nice with knife in the shadows, x2 Crit damage rings, and stealth Full draw. If line your attack from stealth and flank, you can do 10k on your primary target, and 2.5k on everything next to it.

No crit rings :/
I am just attacking from stealth so far with leaping shot or explosive shot and it wasn´t as impressive as I dreamed about. Using full draw sounds like neat idea, I will try it for my next build!

Stealth followed by leaping shot is what I call the 'emergency frag you' button. ![]()

Noob question:
Do crit damage rings and HoK rings stack?
Like if I have 2 unique HoK rings for 20% each and I equip both, will it heal 40% on kill or like 20.4% or something?

This is what I did, focused on getting the Survival (right) tree first, for the most part:

They stack
Superior Life drain rings heal on kill for 10% each.
So, 20%, unless you have heal bonus items.

10%, my bad (its 3 am here and I'm still working...)
Thank you!
So, two HoK rings = 20% + 16% (random number) = 36% HoK, correct? I swear I read somewhere that it cut down significantly instead of stacking. Oh well.

Correct. . . although FYI Caliban starts off with 16% to begin with, and can be upgraded up to 30% total alone.

Noob question:
What's the significance in the Death From Above and Pincushion passives? The first sounds very situational at best, and the latter sounds like it only effects auto-attack, making it somewhat useless?

There is lot of places where you can take advantage of elevation. The problem usually is to remember to actually do that ![]()

The key is leaping shot. Every one of those twelve shots can potentially hit, thus increasing the damage of each sequential hit, especially hits after the LS with other abilities such as explosive shot or full draw. . . or in the case of Archer, another Leaping Shot, each becoming geometrically more damaging than the previlous.
1.6^N damage bonus, where N is the number of leaping shots performed within that 10 second window.
Very few bosses survive this onslaught.

Thanks Drasca
Does Explosive Shot trigger Pincushion per hit (so hitting 4 enemies, 2 hits each, would result in 8 hits or a 40% damage bonus)? If so, combined with Leaping Shot, it sounds like it could get ridiculously powerful very quickly, especially on the Archer with decreased cooldowns.

Death from above tooltips mentions that there is a maximum height of 2 m where you can benefit from the elevation damage bonus , so from heights above 2m you don't get any benefit i guess .
Question , can Trepanner's Requital's explosion crit ? or it is a standard flat damage based on the your weapons attack stat ?
With hunter i was thinking of going with something like this , along with some crit equipment : http://da-skills.net...110,001c1,01d,0
