Anyone taking it really slow in ME2?

Instead of blazing through and doing everything fast as possible I'm enjoying every moment of the game. I think i am 7+ hours in and i've only recruited the doctor salarian and regained Garrus back.

12 hours in, did Omega and got Jack, other then that its been surverying planets.
Oh went to Citidel and was VERY disappointed and underwelmed by the experience im sad to say.
I wanted to see the Asari consort, not get a email, see conrad verner, visit old spots. Instead I ended up buying a hamster and a fish, 2 MAss Effect novels and yelling at a CSec guy and a obnoxious Volus.
Really rather uneventful and not very interesting I must say.
Omega was good and glad to see when you sit down to see a stripper, you see a stripper and not just a scantly clad dancer.
Pergutory was REALLY fustrating with that large mech. Im not a shooter fan and that fight was just fustrating and annoying.
Dont get me wrong though, Citidel and combat my only complaints so far (oh and lack of party members interaction. I havent heard any yet and hoping it wasnt removed from game. That was a strong part of ME1 and DA:O and JE and KotOR games).
The scenery, story, back story, character all been great.
Kinda what I expected to be honest. Home run on the RPG stuff and half assed on the shooter stuff. Kinda sad really, this could have been a 10outta10 game if not for combat.
Anyways, taking it slow, relearning everything and trying my hardest to get everyone in crew to like me so I can survive the suicide mission with this character.
Oh btw Bioware, surveying planets is cool, the first time, after that ITS FREAKING BORING. Just so you know.

I actually found the citadel to be great, I didn't want to be in the presidium again, I like the idea of being in the shopping area with the 3-4 floors. It really felt real and there was so much to see.
the space hamster was a definite added bonus for me.
I think i still have things to do on omega still, then when i am certain i have not missed anything i'll go somewhere else, maybe I'll do some planet surveying =)

And here I thought I'd been taking it slow. I'm about 13 hours in and I've got the first set of people (including the DLC guy) and finished the midway mission after you get those guys. (I know spoilers are allowed here, but I don't want to spoil anything for the people who are taking it slow).
trust me, i spent I think like 1 hour before even pressing new game when i stuck the disc in, i go through everything soooo sloooow lol. I made sure all the settings were how i wanted, i pondered over if I was going to play as default shepard or just use my ID from ME1. Heck i even watched the launch trailer one last time lol
then when I got to playing I mainly just walk and look at everything I possibly can in every room and every option avalaible. I really like games like this, they are rare and the first time through is the best time for that fresh feel so yeah =)

I'm going slow as well. I'm about 2 hours in and I've been to the Citadel and I'm now revisiting the crash site. Haven't recruited anyone yet. Still trying to get used to the new combat system. I like the interrupt system. I had a good laugh when I decked the reporter at the Citadel.
Actually refrained from doing this, and was quite pleased with the Paragon option that followed.

25+ hours, I've finished the first wave of recruiting and I've done some loyalty quests. I've done a lot of side quests and a lot of mineral scanning. I have 300,000+ of every possible mineral (except for eezo, only around 100,000).
I can advise you're approaching being set for life.
Maybe another couple hundred K.

I don't understand people who just blow through an RPG.
