Bow to the chantry ? No way lol
...No.
They already did that.
It didn't help.
Two races need to become one.

They can't . This isn't a Sith vs jedi thing...that need to go back to what they were .
There are difference , there always will be differences . It just one must scram with their chantry nonsense . And the others should learn to behave .
They can't .
*raises brow*
Last I recalled the offspring of a elf and human was a human.
So ?
Their kids maybe human..but Mommy or Daddy still look Vulcan ![]()

No, what she sees as a bad thing to be is somebody who tells people that they're bad and wrong for not being elfy enough the way people have been telling her that for years before Inquisition starts.
The Dalish and City elves are both trying to build a culture around the few scraps of Arlathan that they can remember, rather than trying to create something truly new. Trying to change the past rather than rule this day, to put it as the song about Sera does.
She's still using the name of a race as a negative quality. It might be wrong to question someone's Elveness, or Blackness or Mexicanness. But I don't think that makes it OK to use any of those things in a derogatory way either.
By definition, the culture the city and dalish elves have is new because they can't recreate everything that Arlathan was. And whatever it is or is not, it's still the way of life of two societies of living elves.
What happens when they are gone though?
There are others elves that won't be making Humans babies....
To want more breeding between humans and elves for the purpose to make more human looking elves..is a genocide thats polite and discreet .
Oh well then. Guess I'll have to think of romancing another then
Thanks for your help
Unlike other romances, Sera remains a dimensional throughout the entire game. No growth and nothing new to learn other than what you experience when you first meet her. Other romances at least have an interesting story to tell.

Thats your opinion . It doesn't make it fact..
I was happy with her romance and have no interest in the others romances .

So much is obvious, given that an "opinion" is all anyone can give regarding in-game romances and whether they like them or not.
sounds very similar to a certain eugenist and war criminalThe elves as they stand now are still foreign, still outside humanity.
Some are even actively hostile, the environment that exists in Thedas cannot be overcome by that.
For example.
Those elves in the palace died because of a elf.
Radical change isn't the path to cooperation, it's merely inflaming the situation. You cannot play as human as a elf without being human.
Only until the people are one in the same will this fade; that's my point.
You want equality? The elves need to become human.
Not only in rationality, culture or nationality but blood.
Warder likes to talk about inflicting gigadeath on the Thedas factions he doesn't like. It's his thing. Along with other distasteful opinions.
Purposefully exterminating the elves by breeding them out of existence with a numerically stronger society that already wants them gone is not "unification". It's ethnic (well, speciest) and cultural cleansing. They would cease to exist in a few generations. It would certainly end some 'arguments' - mainly by eliminating the proponents of one side of the argument.
Well, I doubt BioWare's ever going to wipe out the elves, though if the elves simply disappeared because of long-term intermingling with humans and maybe dwarves, it wouldn't technically be genocide.
Putting aside my distaste for genocide, unless it's killer space robots, the logistics of such a thing would be the second worst nightmare.
Anyhoo, it's weird that this subject should come up in a thread regarding romance of a character that has a very low probability of breeding anyway, unless artificial insemination is a thing in Thedas...
...is it?
This thread has been closed because it has derailed and the discussion has become hostile.
