Could barely play a game today without connection issues. Three times today I was kicked from my own session, saying I couldn't connect again. Just had to stop playing there as, once again, I was kicked from the game due to connection issues.
Is something going on?
My issues were significantly worse than usual today, too. Had to restart the game 3 times after being stuck in the infinite Loading Session/Disconnected loop, then 2 disconnected from sessions and 2 blackscreens. Only got to complete 4 games because I spent all my time restarting 
It's slowly getting worse on the PS4 too, just a few weeks ago I was actually able to host my own sessions, but now I just sit in an empty public lobby sobbing quietly to myself & if I try to join a game, around 60% of the time I get a message saying that I have lost connection to the session. I know that there is nothing wrong with my connection & if I host other games it runs smooth as glass, really hoping someone invests time & money to straighten this out...
They're always awful, though I'll have to agree they've been especially bad these past few weeks.
Four crashes to desktop and 2-3 disconnects for me today. Most of them on stage 4 or 5. Getting disconnected from the game when you are the host is always fun.
So, question, those things where a level blatantly doesn't load and you are stuck walking under it, is that lag induced or something else?

Today was definitely bad. We had a hard time getting a game going with people not even getting an invite for some reason. Random disconnects all around as well. Kinda fizzled some of my excitement as I couldn't get more gold to buy the lovely class chests.

I haven't been able to find any lobbies pretty much this entire week since I started playing again.
I figured that was just due to the Witcher dropping and maybe there not being a lot of people playing DAMP in my region. Was I wrong? Is it the servers? I'd much rather it be that then the fact that i'm just not going to get a lot of gameplay period.

You were wrong. It's the servers. Unfortunately, that means that you're not going to get a lot of gameplay. Period.
i had the 'connection lost, can not find game' problem quite often from start
it is for me a common issue connecting to bad servers, so i was fed up always restarting the game.
a small fix did it for me.
create a textfile on your desktop.
open it
type: ipconfig /flushdns
save and close
rename it .cmd instead of .txt
as soon as the issues start, run it, wait 10 sec and try to connect to a game again.

for console peasants, not sure if it will help, but when I run into stability issues I hard reset the XB1. helps to some degree.

None of us even did the Weekend Event for the first time ever due to The Witcher being so awesome.
I wouldn't be surprised if this has affected player numbers and also leaving the only people with bad connections left to host MP games as this is another major open world RPG.

If I had money I too would be playing the Witcher 3. But alas, my money is sparse
Good thing BW is trying to get more people on MP! Fun times when you can hear your friend talking as your trying to join, then poof disconnect time
You'd think EA could afford dedicated servers for one of their bigger studios... and its not like we'd need a lot them either.
Damn, whats going on? Was in a perilous dragon hunt, used my dragon call. Got to the dragon then poof, whole team disappears, they all got ejected and I wiped, then I get unable to find session messages the whole time
Problem i've been running into on the PS4 since friday: I search for a perilous PUG match and instead and up in a create game lobby. I haven't been able to join a single perilous PUG since friday.
Connection issues have been alot worse for me all weekend. Probly 2 - 3xs regular dc rate.
