Hakkon is available on the 28th in the uk according to their twitter for ps4

 

Aww, you've got to be freaking kidding me...

 

You know, contrary to a few, I'm absolutely fine with waiting for things to be released. As stupid and counterproductive as I find timed exclusive DLC, I was even fine with Xbox and PC getting it first (I mean come on, PC users always tend to get the shaft with DLC so it was nice they had something first for a change)

 

But what I'm 100% not ok with is being misinformed. Thats two days now that I've excitedly turned on the PS store to find nothing...  

 

EA/Bioware must have a release schedule for platforms and Time zones, so why can't they post up a universal releases schedule on their social media for all to see??

Surely that would stop people (myself included) being confused and p*ssed off?

You'd still get people grumbling that others are getting it first, but at least everyone would be informed!

 

The only thing i've seen on this is on Biowares FB page about the North American release...

mmm yeah so after 12pm here in the UK now and still nothing. Even the PS Store is saying 'Jaws of Hakkon DLC out now!' but clicking on the link takes you to a distinctly JoH-free page.

So this DLC... is it free? If not, then I'm skipping it because I know it's just another area with non-story fetch-quests and a very minimal storyline on top. Oh yeah... and Scout Harding fanservice.

Refraining from a remark on the exceedingly low, dishonest and outright offensive nature of timed exclusivity and the fact that it arbitrarily holds content hostage (oh, look, see what you made me do? you made me not refrain), the release dates/times should have been communicated better.

 

I'm ready with the ransom, EA, I didn't even call the cops, just like you asked. Now hand over the captive so that this ugliness can be finally resolved.

Guys I checked their Twitter account and they are telling people that it is definitely out tomorrow for Europe. Not sure why they didn't tell us that originally but hey. We'll see if it turns up tomorrow!

I assumed JoH would be hitting the SCEE regions of PS today in the usual update. The EU PS blog seems to also assume this.

Still not out for PS4 in Denmark.. And we get all our stuff at the same time as UK..

So yeah.. Might be a bit pissed off on that account, because I didn't pay for Collector's Edition, just to be screwed over by EA..

Joking aside, I'd still recommend you all to just skip it. DLCs are rarely worth it. Take your 15$ and buy an indie game or two.

Absolutely. I spent over 120 hrs playing DA:I and when I heard about Hakkon I started waiting eagerly to play it and return to the game. The exclusivity was like a slap to the face and everything that has come after that as well. Such a shame.

sorry for the confussion? if you people jsut told the truth there would be no confusion. But this deliberatly act of  misleading us and the fact you dragged your heels in telling the truth is inexsusable! You had a full month and then decide oh well now we'll release the DLC to the rest of the fan bace but only to those who live in NA, screw the rest of you. You have a loyal fan bace that you're pissing off and jerking around. Is this the type of service our money buys, that our loyalty earns?  And you give a flimsey if not vapid excuse and expect us to accept it? Just like that?
