By the beard of Talos, who else is clawing their eyes out awaiting to hear something...........................................anything..........................................about the next elder scrolls game? (Elder Scrolls Online aka "WoW in Tamriel" can take a hike, by the way. :lol: )

 

So many rumors. So many shady websites out there claim they have "leaked information", insisting that the next game will be called "Redguard" or "Argonia" and so on and so forth. But no one really knows. Everything is conjecture. Bethesda is pretty good about keeping a lid on things until the big announcement.

 

I know they will be at E3 this year (isn't this a debut for them?), but my instincts are telling me they might be announcing a new Fallout game. Don't get me wrong - Fallout is awesome. I just love TES so much more.  :wub:  (Though I did read another rumor about Bethesda planning to announce a new Doom game. Hm. Not so sure about that one.)

 

 

Is anyone else fervently looking forward to TES6? Any (well-educated) predictions about the setting and plot?

I'm hoping for The Elder Scrolls: Eleswyr cuz the Khajiit are boss 

 

It would be awesome too to be able to play as the different kinds of Khajiit.

 

I just really want to roam around in Tamriel again, been too long since Skyrim  :lol:

You know... somewhere not European.

 

We can't say 'oh but you've visted them in the past' because Arena was basically all of Tamriel and Daggerfall covered most of the East.

I'd love the option to play a prequel type of elder scrolls game and the Dwemer are still around, in addition to Snow Elves. Two more race options!

Also, one could argue that Arena and Daggerfall are about as dated as Jesus riding a dinosaur.  :D I'd much rather see them now on the newer consoles.

 

Also, I tried to look this up but couldn't find anything in the wiki - wasn't mainland Morrowind basically destroyed? Or am I thinking of a different region?

I would really like to visit Elsweyr too. I don't ever play a Khajit, but I think there's a lot more to experience with their race. Visiting their homeland would be quite the adventure.

Water breathing, disease and poison resistances, basically look like baller humanoid dragons...

...they should just call them "console command" instead of Argonians, because they equal instant win.

We've already been to High Rock and Hammerfell in the second game of the series. Honestly, I'd prefer the Summerset Isles/Valinor while under Aldmeri rule. Entire cities made of glass, weird creatures and magical illusions. It won't beat the unique world of Morrowind but it'd be a good step.

 

I'd also like to visit Black Marsh, and see what swamp cities the Argonians built. I know about Elseweyr but I've seen enough desert already. Too much sand for a sandbox game.

Blackmarsh is my preferred and then Eleswyr comes in at second. That said, I am not too picky as long as we don't go to Valenwood, because I could do without a giant tree city and I've had enough of that in my games. 

 

I just wonder how they are going to follow up the whole Dragonborn thing.

Who cares about gameplay benefits? You are running around as a lizard.  I can play as humans, elves, and even orcs but I draw the line at the beast races.

Valenwood, Elseweyr and Summerset Isle would be amazing. Go deeper into the conflict between the Aldmerri Dominion and the Empire.
