First of all getting Fallout 4 is a priority before TESVI, but that been said I really want the return of the Dwemmer to be the main villainous and apocalyptic theme of the next Elder Scrolls.

I must add that my quest to find any information whatsoever about TES6 has led me to be both amused by and hateful toward that "kdramastars" website. Their "news" is more like.....lies.

Well, I know I don't have any concrete evidence, but my instincts tell me that Fallout 4 is the next big announcement. I'm happy for Fallout fans, but sad for myself and other TES fans.

I don't think there will be one after Fallout 4.  At least not for a while.

From 2006 its been nothing but Fallout or Elder Scrolls from the studio. (if you go back to ES3 then 2002) By the time all the next DLC is out that will be 10 years (plus another 4/5 years development for another ES game) which will total 15/20 years of similar style RPGs in almost continuation.

I mean its what they do, but after so long I think the team will be looking at another idea, maybe a new IP. It used to be exclusively ES but they had to mix it up in there with Fallout and I think after so long doing that they may need a breather. That won't mean there wont be an ES6, it just maybe done done by another team rather then Tod's lot.

But then again they may have something brilliant in mind they want to try.

Well if we take release order from Bethesda in the 7th gen: Oblivion > Fallout 3 > Skyrim. So if we want to call that a "pattern" then it's likely another Fallout will come out.

Well.... my understanding is that Bethesda Game Studios is a division specifically meant to focus on TES and the Fallout RPG franchises.

Bethesda Softworks, however, has published dozens of other games between now and 2006.

Elsweyr, or I release a plague ridden horde of hamsters, gerbils and mice upon the world. You have been warned Bethesda, don't test me.

I don't think it will be limited to a single province this time around.

My bet is on Summerset Isles...

It's an island/archipelago (much like Vvardenfell, sea as natural border), it will give us insight in High-Elf-culture 8like Morrowind/Skyrim did with Dunmer/Nords), the Sload are very close by (perfect villains), the psijic isles as well, the Maomer...its also a short jump to the coasts of both Hammerfell and Valenwood for diverse enviroments. Storywise it could also be interesting, as a non-dominion-member you might have a very different kind of game ...

What I do NOT want the slightest is Elseweyr (I am allergic to cats and hate that race as well) and Black Marsh (a swamp? really? No way, and the filthy lizards are even worse than the Kajhits, they even dared to attack the Dunmer, their rightful masters...well, that'S actually the only thing I'd like about ES: Black Marsh...subdue the Argonians once more...filthy scaly annoying lizard...)

And I said in in a different thread already: Bethesda, look at Witcher 3 please, for the scale of an open world. No more "cities" with a dozen people living in them please. I do not care if every NPC is having a name, house, daily schedule, or if you want to simulate a real world (never understood that attempt anyway), all I want is the mere illusion of a huge, living, breathing fantasyworld, and currently, Witcher does a much better job than former Bethesda-games...so please, please, take everything you can from them, with my blessings

I don't know how I'd feel about that.

I mean, the name is a joke.

Valenwood is fk'd up though. If a Bosmer kills, they gotta eat whatever/whoever they kill. That was all apart of the Green Pact.

Maybe Wood Elves will get a cannibalism skill tree!

Are you speaking in character?

Valenwood sounds cool. The wood elves are the only elven race in the elder scrolls that I generally like. High rock would be a nice throwback from the older games.

And just maybe marriage options with actual character development.

Aren't the Bosmer are the left hand of the Thalmor? I wonder if we go to Valenwood if we won't get another Thalmor sub-plot.

The Thalmor rule all. Resistance is futile.

So the Thalmor are Borg now? Everything makes sense!

I dunno. I kinda don't want TES to turn into a Dragon Age game. In a way, the mostly wooden characters are part of the Elder Scrolls charm.

Given the Thalmor bits in Skyrim, I suspect the next one might focus on the High Elves. Just a hunch.
