Yup and thats the problem i'm finding, I need a second power to generate elusive. How are you generating vendetta with broadside exactly? I find broadside often kills a group of enemies outright but when it doesnt I never acctually see vendetta being placed on enemies?
Broadsides marks all secondary targets with Vendetta.
It will usually shred all minion level targets but will leave and mark anything larger, this works very well with the Walking Bomb effect. The Dr. is doing it similarly with Audicity I believe and I hadn't thought of that, probably because I may have Salvaged all items that level and instead I use Walking Death in my off hand for Walking Bomb at 50%.
If they ALL die, great, but in my experience, I will wipe a portion of the field, but if it's a congested area of Ferelden Castle then it's not uncommon that the REST of the field ends up with Vendetta spreading to them as either they die to the Walking Bomb effect or even to other players attacks.
A field full of Vendetta marked targets are taking more damage due to Black Mark and more importantly to me, I can charge a cluster of 3-4 enemies all marked and even if I lose a couple of Elusive on the way in, I can Flashing Steel right back to full Elusive and if I'm already out of Elusive, using Ambush to close fast then hitting Flashing Steel lets me play aggressively no matter what my Elusive status starts at.
So, for me, Broadsides serves the dual purpose of a shredding AoE attack and setting up the opportunity to take advantage of more Elusive.
