The Quarian Infiltrator, Turian Biotic, and Asari Commando/Vanguard get my approval. Always like Krogans. Don't like Vorcha, but have yet to meet one with a personality, and Oxford sounds like a name to change my mind.

The Yahg I don't know about since their entire species has a bad rep, and the Volus looks like a glass cannon gimmick; not sure I'd want to rely on either one supporting me. Mikah looks like she would just have a really annoying personality.

Anyway, quarian in cape, asari with katana, volus with minigun... lolno. I can only wish that Joe to get some art (or common) sense one day.

The Quarian is actually much edgier than that. He's actually wearing a black trench coat. He forgot his fedora at home though.

I just like the look of the class/race/gender make-ups of some of the characters. I would like to have a Quarian that isn't as squishy as Tali was, and more combat inclined; an Asari Squadmate that isn't an adept; and anything like Nyreen I like. The appearances not so much...

I find myself liking the idea of Oxford the Vorcha more each time. I like to think he has a top hat, smokes a pipe, and has an appreciation of modern art.

I can criticize dumb stuff without making better stuff. Do you think film critics are also Oscar-winning filmmakers?
These characters are stupid and this artist is clearly an edgelord. Deal with it.

Definitely would like characters like Nyreen, although Tali works pretty well for me. In ME1 her powers were great, and on Insanity, she died no more than any character other than Wrex. As for ME2, she's weaker, but honestly, I don't notice it often. On Insanity I've had times where Garrus gets downed and it's just me and Tali and vice versa. Most of the time she dies no more than any other non-tank character for me.

 

But I would like a different type of Quarian squadmate, because as much as I love Tali, she's pretty much the prime example of a normal Quarian. That's not bad, considering she's a prodigy in Tech and is more skilled in her field than any other Quarian, in addition to the fact that she was supposed to be the first Quarian we encounter. However, I want one that is different in the sense that tech is a small part of their skill range, and they rely more on stealth or straight up combat. My mental image of a character like that would be a Quarian with a Cerberus Harrier like you see in MP, but that's just me honestly.

 

Also, yeah, I don't like those appearances...

Dual wielding plus a fedora is too much style for any man, no matter how edgy he may be.

I agree that it's great work in terms of being fun and creative, but I hope no one is seriously suggesting that this would be a cool squad for an actual ME game. I mean, a Volus, a Vorcha and a Yahg? Bioware has played fast and loose with ME lore but this would rip it to shreds.

If these where ME3-style multiplayer characters then that would be fine, but not as an SP squad. It's just too far-fetched.

I think a vorcha, yahg and volus might be my least favourite options for a squad. Damn, imagine the pool of LIs for a straight woman and gay guy here. 

 

Creativity is good, and it's fun to think about. Though I would be interested in a male quarian and female turian on the team.
