A perilous solo speedrun with the Avvar by PenguinFetish, the fastest solo that is currently recorded. Stats are 36 constitution, 49 willpower and 44 cunning.

 

The aim of this video is to prove that you do not need strategy, positioning or any sort of 'skill' providing you have good gear and weapons. This solo is quite literally charging into every group as quickly as possible and spamming abilities. Zero skill or even knowledge of mechanics are needed other than two functional hands.

2. What is this obsession to prove that this game doesn't require skill? Newsflash, a lot of other games don't require lots of it, and a lot of them are in this genre. D3 certainly doesn't require any skill. I hadn't played it in months and the other day one of my friends opened a greater rift of... I don't remember which level but it was 30+ maybe and guess what... I was steamrolling through enemies (with his character). It's just a good build + grinding for good gear, certainly not my l33t D3 skills. Path of Exile also requires little skill - a good build (which is the theorycrafting part of the game) + endless and endless hours of grinding for gear. Even something like BL loses a lot of the skill needed for it when you get the best weapons. We can give countless more examples.

 

But... where is the bottom line? The bottom line is if we're willing to play the game and if we're having fun. Of course it could be better, and arguably ME3 MP was much better. It'd be nice if we get some changes around and make it even more fun but that depends on St Luke & friends and they have been definitely trying to bring positive change.

 

So how about you boys stop measuring the size of your swords with topics like this and let's just all have fun? Discuss.

Aside from this "no skill" statement, stupid as always just because "there is no guns in here"...
Why for the god sake you play a game which does not require any skill? It looks quite boring for me, why you doing it? Are you some BDSM type?

1. It's demon faction. We all know it's the easiest. You can't even compare wrath and it's massive 80 damage to archer and his 400 damage.
2. Many times you were close to die, mostly because you played at top "average". On other faction you would be just dead. Many times.
3. We all know that HoK is OP.
4. If you want to prove that game does not require any skill just let someone new to game play your kit. Your definition of skill only takes "aiming" instead of everything connected with being good at game - experience, reflex, awareness.
5. ME3MP isn't best example for a game with "skill". Maybe some ppl are some freaks and love to solo match with garbage kit. I remember games when I pushed one button for the whole match and won on platinum. Using your "way" of proving things I've just prove that ME3MP can be played by programmed macro, no skill required.

And I second abc's opinion, Penguin did a solo using a build superior his own, which somehow happens to be Drasca and Breakdown's build.

I think, once you have a skill level of XXX, success comes down to gear and promotions.

For real, you haven't proven your point until you take a brand new player and have them try to solo perilous on penguins account. Take penguin's grandmother or something and see if she can do it.

All you have proven is that one of the top veteran players can play aggressively with 99 promotions.

So where's the video of you using your own terrible build you wanted to parade around here a while ago?  I didn't even bother checking what faction, as others have pointed out, only to see you, PF, under posting under AO's account, used the easiest perilous map, and other people's builds.

 

If the game is so easy to solo and doesn't take any skill, go do FC using your own build instead of ours. You wouldn't have touted your own build as being so awesome had you discovered ours under your own abilty-- because you clearly lack it.

 

Go ahead. Play the easiest faction with the easiest class and map against that faction, but that means absolutely zero except to prove you know how to cherry pick results

I already did a month ago, pre-avvar buff on a harder difficulty (perilous fereldan castle), and they were were busy hating on my build then too, while promoting their own bad build.
