Checked out the chests this weekend and I have to say it added to the game. Actually getting items worth using and stuff you don't have makes it feel like you have a reason to play. I have also been making a killing with Dragon loot. I have pretty much everything already. Still I haven't played this game in months and had a few questions.
1. I have heard people talking about them adding a ring that makes your barriers stronger. Is this true or someone talking out of their butt and is it for ALL barrier or just the Keeper?
2. Does anyone know the MAX base damage you can get on the Bow, Staff, 1h Sword and both 2h weapons?
3. Are there any major balance changes aside from the AW?
4. Anything else you think it would be good to know if you haven't played the game in months?
Heres to making a quick 50k so I can drop it when the chests return and I you guys getting that good dragon loot.
1. barrier ring? its not new but it was fixed(?) if thats the one you are talking about it grants a stronger barrier to the keeper and elementalist. meaning your barrier should soak up a few more hits on something like perilous.
2. bow of the dragon is something like 175 base damage with 225 dps, dragon staff is like 81 fire damage with 170+ dps, 1h sword is 208 base damage with 260 dps, and for 2h weapons something like the dragon maul is 328 base damage with 355+dps while the greatsword is 290 base damage with 350+dps. these are rough values for the end game dragon weapons.
3. hmm for this one im gonna point you to the unofficial DAIMP Resource library since its too many things to list.

4. yes heal on kill is now way easier to obtain. you can put in on pretty much every weapon that can take tier 3 schematics. and its an absolute game changer.
