Only time we tell a player to swap is if we already have a bard in the party. 2 really slows the game down at the castle. If you join as a bard, and there is already one there, please choose a different class/lobby. Hopefully they fix this and there is no issue in the future.

I always have a lil chuckle when I bring in my level 1 to Threatening, and end up doing better than the level 20's in the group who complained, assuming that I wouldn't do well.
That if you re lucky of no being kicked.

I confess... it was me under an alt account. I was player ApocOwlyPengFettDrascula-scrummage. I thought "hey, it's Altboulio. hehe, he'll geta kick outta this." well, it was funny to me.
Good move - I was only there for the free gold!

But I do! (and have proof --- mostly in the form of explosions)
Seriously though, soundboard? Capture and share a funny video of what you do.
I still remember you saying explosive shot sucked like 4 months ago even after I told you that it refunds itself and helps resets longshot's cooldown with the use of a high crit bow like punched by the maker. And now I saw you in the other thread preaching about how good that build was.

This game is even tougher to know if a person is perhaps a good low level player than mass effect. Despite peoples disdain for promotions or challenge points in ME3 you would often have a clue that low level player might be okay if they had a decent score in one of the other. At least you know they have played a fair bit.
With this game one has to now rely on banners or at least that is what I do.
I think in most cases you will be able to successfully bring in a lower level character to a group after you have show them you are decent. As in the 1st game show up with you high level character and do well then change to a low level, even level one guy next game.

Well, using myself as an example - don't rush to judge a player's ability based upon level. My lego is currently level 16, but there's a reason I'm still playing in routine...it's not to kill 'help', it's because I suck lol Also, I may not end up in first (or second, or even third) position in the summary, my bleeding hearted nature might be the reason that you were revived in time to help save the day. ![]()
Apparently, I'm not as bad as I think - according to my friend who should know, as they are usually the one carrying me when we play together. That said, we do run routine missions just the two of us, due to her infinite patience...when I'm not around, I'm pretty sure she's doing peri...bless her soul! ![]()
Oh, and I don't voice - people are mean/rude, I don't want to hear about how I'm a female (I'm aware of this, thanks), and I don't wish to subject people to my 'ahhh, shadow - kill it, kill it now...f*cking druffalo...ha! dead spell-binder...' etc Even my cats get annoyed by my running commentary ![]()

I absolutely detest elementalists that join a group mid game when there's already an elementalist in the group. These people might not get a kick, but will probably never be rezzed.
Back to the title/banner note, those things do not necessarily equate to skill. I don't pay attention to it. Sure, it may show that the person put in time, but you should never judge a book by its cover. Personally, I've taken off my titles, banners, etc. to see who kicks me. I just make a note to not group with these people as they're probably not the type of people I would like to associate with.
I think the point of this post was to explain that it is best to give people a chance before you kick. If the player doesn't prove him/herself in the first map/game, feel free to kick.

Except that it is literally the only bit of info you have before hand. I don't kick people at all as a rule but if a guy is level one and has one of the weapon banners equipped or no banner or avatar it is much more likely he will be not as experienced as a guy that has the gold banner or such.
There are always totally new people that will be great and people that put lots of hours in that are poor but with no other information it's most often a reason reflection as to whether the person at least knows their way around the game.

Everytime i say to myself "ok i wont be the bad guy lets give them a try" it ends up with me being pissed and the run failing badly. It aint matter how you look at it, in the end if you low level you are being carried and you not the one that "leading" the group to a successfull run. ( I guess you can say i am wrong in a case where you got an over promoted player in the group with a strong class at low level but thats pretty much it ).
I'm sure that might be your experience but it is far from universally true. When I run perilous with my friends I can take in my level 1 archer and keep up with almost everyone in terms of kills. I do have great gear for archer (only missing a superb HoK ring for his kit) but I don't have a ton of promotions. The only way I was being carried was by someone keeping barrier up which they would have been doing for the party anyway if I hadn't been there.

This is a pretty shitty thing to do, unless your current team has a CTD kicking players mid game to get a friend in is rude. Just wait until the match is done then get them in after, there's nothing more infuriating that getting kicked at the end of a 4/5 perilous dragon so some douchebag can invite his friends list to the game.

Hah, funny story. I've sworn to myself I'll never play routine again, because once you can solo as a level 1 it just gets boring. So anyways, I join a threatening lobby as a lvl 1 duelist. Everybody in the lobby is level 20 except me. I immediately get two skulls from two guys with elven ruins banners (lol). The third guy actually knows what he's doing, so he sticks up for me and readies up. You'd think somebody would give up at this point. But no, we sit there in the lobby for about 15 minutes. I kick back and read a book, so I'm good
Finally, one guy gives up and leaves rather than play with me. Somebody new joins and readies up, and the guy who wanted to kick me, an arcane warrior, finally readies up. We play the match and succeed. Guess who's dead last? It's not me ![]()

I had this happen recently and was wondering what I'd done to ****** people off because everything was running smoothly and no deaths by any on the team. Messaged the guy and he said they were making room for a friend. I was a little irritated because it likely would have only been another five minutes max to finish the round, ya know?
Edited to add: weird that it bowdlerizes ******

I don't wish to subject people to my 'ahhh, shadow - kill it, kill it now...f*cking druffalo...ha! dead spell-binder...' etc Even my cats get annoyed by my running commentary
But that's half the fun. Just have a Luka around, and your party won't distinguish between your comments and hers!
I have a friend like this I was teaching how to Templar shield wall attack cancel. She was repeating hit-block to herself when off-mic

I'm actually referring to Audacity and its target explodes for 75% weapon damage on death in this thread.
However, 4 months ago we didn't have the Dragonslayer DLC with its 10-12+ mobs on the screen regularly, and the ES buffs within the past month (and longshot nerfs). Unbuffed ES on old maps is absolutely terrible. Buffed ES on old maps is still so-so. Buffed ES on new maps makes sense, with lots of enemies, and a boss frost dragon weak to fire damage that drops end-game items.
ES is only good on clustered enemies that last longer than the 2 second combined target and draw time. There's plenty of those on FC. If you have clustered enemies that last longer than 2 seconds on old maps, you have burst dps issues, as they should've already been killed.
Leaping shot is still superior at ultra close range, as you are not vulnerable while performing the LpS animation but you are during ES.
