This game is far too forgiving to require those kinds of demands and if you have any ability you can carry a Level 1 of the weakest class anyway.

Depends on team composition. You mistakenly assume I'm able to carry all the time. I won't, as I have to play level 1's sometime in Perilous, and our team isn't always the same strength the every time. If I'm on at a carry everyone class and level, I don't bother to check, but if the team composition isn't strong enough to do the job, I am definitely going to fix that.

The game is not forgiving to pugs that become pincushions on Perilous, and neither am I. If you want to go get yourself killed and make the game more difficult for everyone else, you're free to play in another game.

Drasca is an arse hole teddy bear.  He might mouth off and whine, but he will take the time to teach you if you want to learn.  Well, maybe when you don't want to learn too.  lol.  He's more forgiving than he gives himself credit for.  Especially if you have boobs.

I'm actually referring to Audacity and its target explodes for 75% weapon damage on death in this thread.

However, 4 months ago we didn't have the Dragonslayer DLC with its 10-12+ mobs on the screen regularly, and the ES buffs within the past month (and longshot nerfs). Unbuffed ES on old maps is absolutely terrible. Buffed ES on old maps is still so-so. Buffed ES on new maps makes sense, with lots of enemies, and a boss frost dragon weak to fire damage that drops end-game items.

ES is only good on clustered enemies that last longer than the 2 second combined target and draw time. There's plenty of those on FC. If you have clustered enemies that last longer than 2 seconds on old maps, you have burst dps issues, as they should've already been killed.

Leaping shot is still superior at ultra close range, as you are not vulnerable while performing the LpS animation but you are during ES.

ES wasn't a skill to get your kills and still isn't. It's a filler skill to get your longshot cooldown back and set up kills. It can't be parried or blocked and knocks down some of the most annoying mobs in the game. The only time you should ever expect any sort of aoe and damage out of it is when you're playing with a keeper. And also, it costs a total of 0 skill points which is pretty important since the archer needs a fair amount of passives before he deals respectable damage to make up for the fact that he has no survivability.

The #1 player on the ps4 doesn't use a banner or portrait, I guess he likes to be incognito :D  I don't kick people unless making room for friends

This is a pretty shitty thing to do, unless your current team has a CTD kicking players mid game to get a friend in is rude. Just wait until the match is done then get them in after, there's nothing more infuriating that getting kicked at the end of a 4/5 perilous dragon so some douchebag can invite his friends list to the game.

I only kick in the lobby, before asking the person to leave to make room for a friend.  If I really want a game with a friend right that second I'll leave myself, because I play for fun.... I don't know why you would assume otherwise.... maybe I should have been more descriptive of my actions in original post to avoid confusion?  o.O    "So some docuhebag"??  wow man rip 15 minutes of your time!  Lets start calling names!!  :P

The discussion was about kicking players mid game so clearly that's why I was "assuming otherwise". I said it was okay to do this after a game. Don't we all play for fun?

That was a description of my personal experieces, hence why I was so descriptive of 4/5 perilous dragon fight and the guys that kicked me then were douche bags and any other players that do the same, so unless you do the same it clearly wasn't aimed at you. Don't take things so personally.

ES wasn't a skill to get your kills and still isn't.

My 4k+ total ES killing a despair demon says otherwise. My allies who also archer, with far fewer promotions, also killing with ES, say otherwise.

the fact that he has no survivability

My solo's also say otherwise. I'd capture and release another video, but no one's going to be surprised at the result (especially the result of certain BSN'ers complaining of 'waaah he has promotions I don't have' as if that's news)

Ele's that don't (and refuse to) bring firestorm are noobs. Usually dead ones to said group of archers. Part of the group of players I like to kick from party, along with fire wall refusers. Compared to FW+FStorm being mandatory, Barrier and Fire Mine are only recommended, considering you can block off an entire room & entrance for area denial. Who needs barrier when everything is either panicked or knocked on its butt?

Our team tried to kick a dude who joined our game and wanted to bring a level 1 legio to a perilous game. He immediately changed to a 15 AW and we let him play. Kicked him three minutes into the game after he killed four mobs in the first wave and did nothing at all into the second wave.

This was a guy who is quite high on the 360 leader boards, so don't be fooled by banners / promotions.

...unfortunately its not uncommon to be kicked as lvl 1 in routine. i have more than enough promotions to bring my lvl 1´s to threatening, but i always thought that its polite to do at least one game in routine before entering higher difficulties.

I can't speak for other teams, but my teams carry each other's level one's, sometimes multiple at a time (one level 19 carries 3 level 1's), to the point where I have to yell at / convince the players that try to bail when they're out of non-level ones. GTF back in here, play a round, get levels, and carry us the next time we're the ones being level one.

I wonder if some of the kicking is more common on different platforms. On PS3 I am always going into threatening with a lvl 1 and I run couple runs before going into perilous. If the PUG was weak and we wipe then I usually stay for another couple runs so we get to extraction. Few times I was kicked is when people have public games that should be private and are waiting for friends.

PC here. As i already told in previous post, on pc it´s not uncommon kicking lvl´s 1 in routine, even lvl 10-13 AW in perilous. i think i dont need to add that on this lvl its possibe to solo, but guys....its multiplayer:-/

Honestly, I'd say connection strength is at least as, if not more, important than level. I have often contributed as much with a laggy level 18, as with a smooth level 1. That is to say, very little except for boosting enemy strength as I go into the fade.

My usual spec is Firewall, Barrier, Winters Grasp and either Firestorm or Immolate, depending on whether I am helping out some low promotion friends do perilous or not. I am not a fan of elementalists who spam Firestorm on every single encounter, regardless of whether it's a a single mob or not.

Some of us may have reasons.... I don't like using my free cast on anything but firestorm so if I've got it I'm using it before I use other spells. People don't like a constant meteor storm on top of them all game?

Due to my near psychotic hatred of archers I have to admit I'm guilty of it too.

I even hear the whistle of an arrow it's nuke time.

Lol no, there are plenty of viable options without the use of firestorm.
