Is it just me or should there be more than 6 origin stories?
You have:
Human Noble, Circle Mage, Dalish elf, City elf, Drawf Noble and Dwarf Commoner.
coment on Drawf Commoner - why is it a Commoner origin when you clearly are an outcast which is IMO is way lower than a mere commoner? why not call it a outcast origin ? and maybe you should make a House Origin for the dwarfs? something like what Gorim is to the drawf noble origin?
allso I would like to see a Origin that revolves around apostate mages - like the dalish elf mage or casind mage And of couse a Human Commoner would be nice.

I think the Dwarf "commoner" was chosen the way it was to give a stronger contrast to the noble and also to provide a more interesting background, than a dwarf of a certain caste like e.g. smith.
Human commoner might have been a good option, but in fact how would that be played? A servant in a noble house, who sneaks out or escapes during a battle? Or maybe a pick-pocket, who gets caught? I think this story would either be too close to the Human Noble or too similar to Dwarf Commoner or even City Elf. What options are left? A peasant farmer around Lothering, who lost his farm, land, family to Darkspawn and vows revenge or gets saved by Duncan perhaps...?
There are possibilities, perhaps even for a modder to add something like an origin story. But I'm happy with the choices given, since each is quite unique and especially some of them have a very dramatic plot.

There was a human commoner origin, but it was cut. There was also a Chasind Barbarian origin too, iirc.
Honestly, I not disappointed they were cut - I'm a quality over quantity kind of guy. I felt that the Dwarf commoner and Dalish Elf origins were the weakest of the bunch.

An apostate mage or a Chasind origin would've been nice though...

PS: Forum tip: it's normally a bad idea to write "developers please respond" or similar things in your topic. Devs normally avoid responding to such topics because it gives the impression that they can be summoned on command.
