If you haven't had the chance to read fan artist Padzi's "Citadel Wards" comic, I'd highly recommend it.

While Shepard may be the hero the galaxy, you don't really get a feel for the everyday people that you save. CW brings the Citadel's civilians to life, adding atmosphere, world building, and a heart-warming plot without detracting from Shepard's story; it's a great read and gives you the fitting, funny, and sometimes quirky perspective of what it's like to live in the Mass Effect universe.

Unfortunately, after 277 pages, Padzi has taken an indeterminate hiatus for several reasons. I made this topic to highly suggest a read of Citadel Wards (definitely my favorite ME comic) (first issue: http://padzi.deviant...ing-1-185496412), and to thank Padzi for all of her hard work. This extends to all fan artists, as I'm sure we're all grateful for their great stories, especially as they keep us entertained while waiting for ME4.

That would be good for the multiplayer, an story less "important" in consequences for the fate of many with big and little decisions, something like in the walking dead. While another large group of developers would be required to do something like that.

Did Padzi at least finish the current story arc that is in the current writings?  If she has taken indefinite hiatus, I would hate to get attached to the characters and story line just for it to be left hanging in the air, unfinished.

I suppose I could just use the old imagination to finish it myself.  I wish they would have done more with "Paragon Lost."  A Mass Effect themed anime would be amazing!

No, unfortunately the latest arc ends unresolved. That being said, I'd still suggest taking a look, because that arc is only relevant in the last ten pages or so. There's still quite a lot of content and arc conclusions.

I agree, it's always a tragedy when the author doesn't finish. The only official stories I've seen are the comics (including the rage-comic version of Deception, I guess), and I think there's more than enough room in the ME universe for a great anime or cartoon. Maybe we'll eventually get that movie.
