So, about that recon mine. Is speccing for armor damage even worth considering when most armored enemies are shielded anyways, and you're not going to spread shots to lower the shields of multiple enemies for that AOE Armor damage, making Invasive Scan the obvious "most efficient" use?

Do yourself a favour; go see it. It's a modern cinematic masterpiece, and it's the only movie I've seen in theatres more than once.

The armor damage bonus is multiplicative and even if an enemy is shielded if they have armor the damage bonus will kill them quicker. If you plan on actually detonating the RM it is a great evolution. However, if the invasive scan debuff affects the explosion damage from detonating the RM I am not sure ask someone who has done the testing/number crunching (assuming you were even serious with the question).
