Here again I'm sitting waiting to play my game. Even with auto downloads turned off in Origin it still started to download what it is calling "dragonslayer mp". I hope someday bioware or origin allowes the player to actually decide what and how they want to play...I HAVE NEVER PLAYED AND WILL NEVER PLAY THE MP PORTION OF THIS GAME....BUT I STILL NEED TO SIT THROUGH ANOTHER LONG DOWNLOAD I WILL NEVER USE.

That's strange.  I have never downloaded a single MP map.  I'm on PC and I'm looking at my games list in Origin.  Auto-Downloader is shut off, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

However, this isn't the right forum for your concern.  BioWare can't do anything about this, since this is a EA/Origin matter.

That's weird. Usually for MP addons they need to 'purchased' for free through Origin. They typically don't download until that process has been completed.

? They ARE optional. They shouldn't download unless you 'purchase' them (for free).

I thought they were downloaded the same way JoH was?  You check what you want and it downloads.  I can say that the game updates periodically and Origin won't let me sign on until the patch or whatever goes through.  That's really annoying, especially if I don't have all day to play.  Plus, it seems like the latest patches have done the opposite of improving stability.  My options keep resetting and that's driving me up a wall.  I went to play yesterday and the first indication that something was wrong was when I entered combat and my key bindings had reverted.  I moved that pause button for a reason, darn it!  Likewise, I had no subtitles and the mouse tracker was back to choppy default.  Again.  Ack!  I had been playing online for a while because I wanted to create a new character but didn't know when, but had to stop because the game BSODed once and CTDed a couple times, that I recall.  It's so ordinary, I just quicksave every 10 seconds or so.

The MP DLCs are entirely optional, perhaps you accidentally purchased one, BUT, it is true that the MP content is approximately 60% of the initial game download and installation. During my clean install a couple of weeks back, the SP content was ready to go at 43%, and the rest was MP. So, yes, I downloaded from the servers, and I had to wait 18 hours on the xbox one for the installation to complete.
