I know I asked this a week or so ago. I know several players like myself waiting for the challenges. I mean that is pretty much the last part of dragonslayer that we are waiting for since we have all the drops. It has just been a xp grind for awhile now. I also have strayed away from playing the new characters because I feel like there is a chance I am just wasting my time. It would be nice to get a status update.

Retroactive credit toward said new banners for number of times the new characters have already been promoted!

 

The new characters are great, just don't want to have a sense that all the xp gained playing them now will be for naught.

I really hope they're retroactive. It would be really annoying to have to start at 0 for wealth in the Ferelden Castle, games completed with the new characters, etc. Plus, I want to know how many dragons I've killed!

Without new challenges, I think the game will start to become "just an xp grind".  We need new goals and incentive to keep pushing forward.  For example, maybe have a new zone that can only be accessible when prerequisite type challenges are completed.  The new character challenges are a given, but in addition to that, how about combo challenges?

New banners would be nice, and I certainly hope that there would be retroactive credit. I'm trying to fill out achievements for all the character, but I kind of prefer playing my Skywatcher, Duelist, and Virtuoso over all of the older characters - heh.

Bust a nug map. Kill 200 nugs and gain 12000 gold on a map inhabited by herds of druffalo. Those nugs run away though, and the druffalo run to you.

So I just logged in on PS4 and they have added new challenges for dragons and new characters, but it appears that stats weren't saving correctly. It gave me credit for killing 9 dragons on Perilous, none on routine or threatening. It gave credit for the experience I've gained with the new classes, but none of the completions. I'm sure I can't be the only one who got hosed on this?

Mine just shows empty slots with like 0/250 no class name etc.  I wouldnt write a nasty letter yet.

 

Edit*  the dragonslayer are showing up all at 0 but you only have to kill 25 anyways

I wouldn't write a nasty letter either way, honestly I love this game, and really its an excuse to play more. I'm just a little bummed and wanted to see if I was the only one. Only other mildly disappointing fact, its showing no new banners, titles, or portraits, just free chest rewards at 5 stars

I really hope the Challenges are retroactive. I have already played 37 Promotions with the Avvar, 15 with Isabella and 7 with the Virtuoso. Come on Bioware...

Just logged in and got credit for perilous dragons.  I really hope a dragons call chest as a reward is a mistake.  Long wait for a chest

yea just noticed the new challenges are up, i got the 100k xp with the new characters one but it seems it wasn't retroactive with games played

I guess they couldn't keep track of matches played. I have 27 promotes on Izzy atm 0 completions....
