On PC we press Quick Join, wait 30 seconds, then get depressingly dumped into an empty lobby to contemplate our life choices. 

 

It's as if the hamster powering the EA servers with their hamster wheel just can't handle the stress and gives up.

That's nothing new. The game still crashes on a rare occasion and has infinite load screens. Pretty irritating at times and discourages players from even playing. As if the community wasn't small enough.

I consider it a great honour when the game decides not to **** up. Like I've been chosen.

Of course, sometimes it tricks you. Undead RTC, Narnia, host migration fails, Lagatha Christie and last enemy stuck behind a treasure room door nobody can open.

Just part of the top end gaming experience that is DAMP.

"Matchmaking Failed" then an invisible menu, forcing you to restart the game, is even better.

 

Matchmaking failed at 0:35 and no menu at 1:18.

Yep, this is my usual experience on PS4. I find it happens much more when I try to join Perilous games for some reason - I'm always 'losing my connection' to games there, or simply end up the lone person in a lobby. And this is at 'peak' times too.

Not being able to find a lobby is ok...  Finding a lobby, waiting for everyone to ready up and then getting the screen where everyone is just standing there without their weapons drawn.. THAT is what I find most frustrating.. Oh ... and the system (Xbox) has to be re-started after all that wait too...  That happened to me 5 times in a row once  .. almost broke my controller...  And it happens to me quite often, 2x-3x a night..

 

Guess that's the price to pay for a player connecting from Asia.

"matchmaking is working as intended". and last night it was terrible....couldnt find a match for about 20 minutes, disconnecting during solo matches, crashes to desktop, host migrations fails...was not possible to finish a single match in more then an hour:-/

This morning I thought Id do a quick perilous game before work. I switched to my mighty arcane warrior and hit quick match. It found nothing, I got dropped in a lobby by myself. "no biggie" I thought, "perhaps someone will drop in, I'll just start the game up". Ready up and it goes to black loading screen. I listened to about 5 minutes of 'The Dawn Will Come' until I quit out and had to force restart my PS3.

This has been happening a lot more than usual for me the last few days. But nah, better nerf Lego.

I almost always have to create my own lobby and solo the first several waves before someone joins.  After that, it seems I have greater success in searching for and finding a lobby.  I don't like to host.

Highly original. And how is posting a bug and calmly asking BioWare to comment remotely like the b*tch fit you threw over the new challenges? Editing your post to sound slightly less like an entitled little crybaby doesn't change anything. Grow up.
