Frankly, I don't care what someone's prestige level is or isn't in Routine.

You were Level 1.

In Routine.

Where the hell else were you supposed to go? There is no Wood Difficulty.

People slay me.

It's funny when you rock up as a level 1 in routine with a bunch of peasants with your high end gear and wreck everything.

Then they kick you.....with passive aggressive remarks.

True story.

Not my fault nubs in threatening don't recognise my superiority.

Bumping this thread in support. Don't have anything to add to the conversation other then personal observations so, to be honest I haven't seen anyone be kicked (with that one exception I posted about in "last pug") or get kicked in a very long time. Granted I took a long break a few months after release and only started really playing again with the expansion release. When I played ME3 I never saw or kicked anyone for low challenge points, just things like people with katana sub x from platinum and such.

An indicator should have been there a long time ago. Judging potential player performance isn't a unilateral process. Noobs judge people in lobbies to see if they can be carried the same way vets judge if someone is going to wreck their game. Let's stop pretending it's a one-sided issue or would have one-sided results. Players shouldn't feel like they are being duped into carrying under the "everybody play nice" banner. If they aren't going to put up noob gates so that new ppl understand the game better then give the players the choice of who they want to play with.

Noobs kick ppl who are "too good" on lower difficulties.

Returning noobs kick Lvl1s from higher difficulties because of their prior prejudice from the original game release.

Vets kick noobs who worse than normal (dying in zone 1 etc).

Vets dip out of lobbies if they see a bunch of bannerless noobs.

All of the speculation of kicking and prejudice going on yet you're more likely to be kicked for falling asleep at the keyboard/controller or taking too long to ready up. Displaying prestige, builds, or loadout would serve no purpose or cause further delays in game starts. Let ppl play their characters how they want. The basics that should appear are the player's promo stats and/or a generic armor/weapon rating system (poor, fair, average, good, excellent). Neither of these would be expensive on the screen, especially if they got rid of other QM lobby options such as the store.

Getting kicked in a routine game is just ridiculous, and you should feel glad you did. There's no reason to play with the idiots that kicked you. None. They are terrible. Routine is for level 1's.

if the game showed instead of prestige, how many games you have played, would they kick a noob who is on their FIRST game?

I think games complete would be better than showing Prestige.

I think that would show better than anything else how much experience and "know how to play" the character has and would really be the best indicator of their survivability.

Since when is experience/prestige a good skill indicator? I might be new around here, but I've seen bannered people with high level characters playing a lot worse than people with no banner/title.

I know a lot of high levels players like KINGKOM that play with no banners or titles.

Agreed. The first time I saw him and others at his level play was when I joined his game in progress in perilous I saw he was low level and Zone 3 was cleared and I must say I was like wow...here I am in ninja mode inching forward and jumpy...

Regardless, it's routine. If you can't solo it by now, and are grouping, then you've got no business kicking people out of routine matches.

Speaking of banners, is it that time consuming for bioware to incorporate three new ones for the classes? :)

Why is this an issue? *shrugs* I only vote kick for not readying up, if a player glitches and can't make it to plant the flag area, or if they're warping everyone forward while the rest of us are doing doors ( especially if they're NOT host and are doing this. Also, door skippers on threatening: those of us doing doors and pots are gold poor and still need to unlock items. If you're skipping doors on threatening, I can only assume you have all the good stuff unlocked and are attempting to "speed run". Why aren't you utilizing perilous for speed running? If that's your goal, then you're wasting your time, mine and everyone else's, in threatening. )

I don't vote kick for bannerless players. The reasons I' m most likely to leave a lobby is if I don't feel like playing the castle ( because I need gold and I usually end up with more on the other maps) or there's a character I really want to play and I don't feel like switching classes to make up for a missing class. I usually don't stick around in the same group unless there is really good synergy. I like playing with randoms. Yes, I LIKE PLAYING WITH RANDOMS. Pugs aren't bad, contrary to popular elitist wisdom.

Yes, it means taking 5 minutes to draw.

Time better spent on "balancing" the game.

Hello fellow random-lover, may we someday meet in a pug and then go our separate ways.

I like playing with randoms too. Had a few encounters that were less than pleasant but considering the number of games I've probably played, that's not bad.

I don't care either way if you can see prestige, but seeing the complete loadouts of other players in MEMP was invaluable. I also had to keep messaging people not to use Smart Choke on the Geth Plasma Shotgun and the like ^_^

So yeah, let us see the loadouts of other players in the lobby. Builds too, if that's possible.

We should have been able to see loadouts since the game was release. This is a co-op game, to see the team mates' loadout is both constructive and a necessary basic feature. I don't know why on Earth Bioware decided to omit loadouts this time around, considering that seeing them was such a crucial feature in ME3.

And while I would still want to see Prestige being displayed on the lobby screen, visible loadout would partially suffice as a much needed e-peen booster in this game  B)

This is how it should be.
Being able to see teammates loadout and powers would make coordination a lot better.
