1. It will result in discrimination against newer players. ( I mean the whole point is so you can determine whether to keep them in the game or boot them).
2. I was a beginner once too. And some vets helped raise me up when I was down. (hahahah..ha..barf)
3. The mystery is actually somewhat refreshing. My world came crashing down around me the first time I got out of bed after my wife had been silently Dutch Oven-ing it all night.
Edit: 4. And I can do without all the e-peen pea cocking from it.

I have np playing in pugs coming in with a lvl 1 on threatening.... as long as they are MICed up. Commo is key imho.
I recently carried a PUG nearly solo on threatening FC with a lvl 1 Lego. Good for everyone they didn't kick me lol

This is how it should be.
Being able to see teammates loadout and powers would make coordination a lot better.
I wouldn't say that coordination is whole idea per se.
My view is that co-op games - particularly Public ones - are about gathering a group of people who are inclined to share their resources in order to achieve a common goal. Therefore to see each other's loadout is if anything better than to be in the dark.
I've been through situations where this would've helped, such as having Fire staves in a party which was fighting an Inferno Dragon.

you know why?
Because you killed everybody and they had no one to kill
It is quite frustrating ...

Joined a threatening match once as a lvl 11 hunter, in it were 3 lvl 20 characters and I was the one with two skulls.... ticked me right off and I made them work for a kill streak.

I was doing my best to help the team, as I always do. They would have been more polite if they had waited the game to finish and then recrate the lobby or look for another one.
However, this might be an example to illustrate that above-average Prestige players can not only pug Threatening as Level 1s but also carry the team, reinforcing my views that Prestige should be displayed on the lobby screen.

Interesting argument for showing the prestige. I also believe it would cause discrimination against newbie players though.
What about a toggle option? That would be the best solution imo. However, it's probably too much work to stack on top of Luke's team of little gnomes. They are desperately trying to dig out of the bugs and make a cozy little dlc house for us.

I totally agree with you on this.A lobby set up to see load outs and prestige would be best because you could better prepare for carrying or spotting leachers while in the lobby.I think they should have stuck to similar lobby options like MEMP has.

I believe that your intentions are to help the team.
But already you thought there may be players who do not want people like you in the lobby if they see your prestige.
Because they cut them the pleasure of being competitive among them, take you the pleasure of playing, they kill anything that moves, take the possibility of you survive. You need to kill to survive ...
Also the opposite will happen if someone low level enter into a lobby of top players. They will look at your prestige even if you are Lv20, they will think what???
this dude...
I think there will be more discrimination in the lobbies.
I have nothing against the top players, I'm just more or less in the middle of the leaderboard (PC).
It is just my opnion.

Discrimination and Prejudice might happen anyway, it is a sad aspect of social gaming. Though I believe the vast majority of Leaderboards players I know of wouldn't partake in such things. I've seen a lot of modesty from most of them.
I often play with people whose Prestige are in their 200s, and I often tell them I would rather have them playing a level 1 than a level 20. No "What???" reaction from me nor from anyone of my teams.
I understand that some people would not want to play with me, they might assume I am too competitive or whatever, but a Public lobby is a Public lobby and you can't really pick out who lands in there.
And I am possibly being a little stubborn, but I remain adamant that Prestige and Loadout should be displayed on the lobby screen ![]()

More gold=less likely to spam f4.
Less gold/no gold= opens every treasure door while group is fighting mobs, f4 only button they know how to use.
