So, upon comming back from taking a break from DA:I MP, i saw on the PSN update screen that there were "balance changes" to Arcane Warrior, so i went to take a look at them.
Spirit Blade
Mana cost up from 10 to 20
Barrier and Guard damage bonus reduced to 100% for both from 400/200
To be honest, i COMPLETELY agreed with the damage nerfs. Being able to shred armor and barrier without even trying just made the MP seem less difficult and moreover, less fun for those pug'd with 2-3 of them.
What i didnt agree with, however, was the mana changes. I LOVED to be able to be a jedi, and wack enemies in their face with a magical sword. Now with the mana changes, i feel like what a fun spec used to be, got turned into "Alright, lets hit em 4 times, and run away to cast spells,and auto for 3-4 secs, and run in again if they are not already dead!"
Now, thats not to say EVERYONE felt the same way, of course not.
I was just thinking, maybe reducing that mana cost back to 10 or even 15 and compensating that by reducing SB damage slightly more to give us back that satisfying feeling of having a lightsaber and going to town with the warrior by your side.
I would be fine with 250% weapon damage on SB, and an even further nerf on Decloaking Blast,maybe to 650%, just to be able to swing my pretty lightsaber more again.
What are your thoughts everyone? Im completely open to constructive criticism, as long as it doesnt make me cry in the end :')
