So I recently just obtained it bad have a few Qs about its heal on kill.
1) the 10% heal on passive says enemies that die near you. So does that imply that enemies your teammates kill also give you the 10% heal as long you're near them?
2) I crafted a staff upgrade that gives me 5% heal on kill. Does that mean I get 15% heal on kill or do they not stack?

Death Siphon triggers on your kills or any ally's kill. Heal on Kill effects only trigger on your kills. So with both, when you kill something, you'd recover 15%. When an ally kills something, it would only be 10%

1) yes, it gives you heal even for enemies you personally haven´t killed

2) Your staff will grant you heal on your kill. You ´ll get 10% from all enemies dying around you and 5% from those you killed. So in theory, yeah, 10+5.

edit for my lousy math skills

With death siphon you get health back even if a team mate kills an enemey. You dont have to be close to them either (i'm not sure if there even is a range on it)

Sometimes you can even self rez with Death Siphon..  i.e., you go down but fire storm or another player on the team kills something and tadaa! you're back in the room! :)

I don't even bother with any HOK ability ring's or attachments with the necro or ele, death siphon is more than enough. Kind of a waste of my unique HOK rings, I never use them XD

Pretty sure you're right on this, so the HOK you get with the dragon weapons is more than enough to res you, I've heard of players using 2 HOK rings and weapon attachments to bring them to 50% HOK and I'm like why :s do more damage and maybe you'll go down less XD

Possibly right, I am fairly sure I have seen my Ele get back up after the team kills stuff but I could be mistaken..

Over heal on kill.

You actually only need 1%, and a form of persistent damage post-death to trigger HoK. Fire Mine, Spirit Mark Pet, Spike Trap, burning, are all excellent examples of this. Even a belated arrow, weapon swing, and bleed trigger can trigger this, as Heal on Kill is not immediate (even though death is).

Heal on Hit from weapons like Death Ward and Cruel Redemption can also do this.

Incorrect

I stand corrected, although I could have sworn that I sometimes still get up even if I don't have any active spells/burning enemies..  This does give me a better understanding of Death Siphon, I learn new stuff every day on this game..lol
