So, while we can't salvage armor and thus the armor inventory gets a little confusing (I could open a fashion boutique), we can't craft armor again, if we got more/better cloth etc.

Would it be much work to

a_   let us salvage armor we don't need/want and

b_   let us craft our chosen outfit again with better material?

In multiplayer, it doesn't matter which materials are used to craft the armor. So just use the lowest tier material you have. If the armor you picked needs 12 metal for example, 12 iron works as well as 12 silverite.

while we are on the subject I would have liked it if we had drop down menus for each character with their armour sets underneath.  I hate scrolling through endless sets of armour and I might just create special armour sets with resistances for each character if it was not such a chore to scroll through them all.

Yes armor does take inventory space, and it doesn't matter what materials you use to craft them.

Allow us to salvage armor, Biovar pls, or just expand inventory size to 1000 and watch EA servers explode.

Agreed. On a side note, I'd also like to be able to craft Armor Upgrades. I've gotten a total of 1 +12 Willpower arms (best I've seen) since release, and I have a ton of mages who'd like one...

+1 for salvaging armor.I'm only going to be using the best I have, the rest are trash that need to be removed.
