I would settle for you just saying what QoL is...
That's actually completely my bad, sorry. I should have explained it, just in case (such as yourself) someone didn't know. That hinders the legibility of a large part of this post.
This is taken from a Google quotation of a Wikipedia entry I believe (did a Google search, and this was in the "answer" field).
"Quality of life (QOL) is the general well-being of individuals and societies. QOL has a wide range of contexts, including the fields of international development, healthcare, politics and employment."
Basically a QoL change, would be a feature, addition, tweak, etc. That isn't necessarily a balance change, but serves to improve the well-being of the players. For example, the recent change to Witcher 3 that made the loot screen larger when looting something. This doesn't really change the game per se, but it's a QoL change that serves to improve the player's enjoyment of the game.
Does that make sense?
