What do you think is the best part of the story?

-Origins
-Ostagar/Lothering
-Tower of Magi
-Orzammar
-redcliff/Urn
-Elves
-Landsmeet
-Final battle

For me it is Orzammar. I really love all the choices you have to make, Two kings and the anvil. Also the deeproads are awsome. And offcourse you first see the Archdeamon in real time.

Origins were the most fun for me. Orzammar was just pure pain and torture, plus I couldn't give two flying dogs about those gets to rule over a civilization long past overdue anyway.

Although being a Dwarf Noble was fun as hell.

Landsmeet

Final Battle

Origins

Orzammar

Ostagar and Lothering are a pain in the ass if you're playing the fourth time through.

Haha. Ostagar and Lothering do get pretty boring after multiple playthroughs. I generally switch up the order of the areas just for a little variety since I've played most of them several times now.

I think my favorite quest was the quest for the Urn. Even though it is really not that long, I liked the personal insight into all of the characters (well, the ones you have with you), and the challenges at the end were fun to play through as well. Plus, killing that dragon was truly epic! Awesome. :)

Knowing how much yall just LOVE the Fade....I'm going with the circle. I always like bringing in new people to see their dream/nightmare, and I love taking on all those forms to get everywhere. Not to mention finally getting Wynne helps relieve my poultice bills!

Eh, probably the best part of the game that really made my spirits soar was the section right before you head into the Final Battle. The friends you leave behind to guard the gate say their final goodbyes, and then you turn and charge up the path with soldiers lined up on both sides, cheering and roaring their approval as you set off to end it all.

I think the pacing was terrific; all the way from your origin story, up to the end slaying the archdemon. The game definitley refined the true definition of scale and dark fantasy, from going along the lines of a fairy tale with a true dark meaning behind it. Most favorite moment for me is how ostagar falls and the music scoring in as you fight a ogre for the first time. This is where the beginning of the character's tragic tale as a Grey Warden in Fereldin slowly begins.

That part was truely 'awesome'. I loved the options if you survive at the end, I chose for my character to 'travel', and the final quotes before credits on the aftermaths saying how it isn't the last you've seen of the main character... kinda hence the new expansion and more DLC to come!

Argh! I want to play the final battle. I'm on the way to Redcliffe, but I want to pick up RtO first. My current character is going to be Anora's husband, so fighting the final battle in the king's armor would be just awesome.

By the way, I was messing around with the toolset a bit and I found entries for Loghain available at the gauntlet. Is there a way to go though it with him? I can't think of one.

Hey dude, do what I did, I saved just after the Landsmeet and then continue the story to the end, then once you've experienced the epic that is the end, you can return back to the original save for further DLC or to finish off side-quests! =]

I considered doing that. But I want to experience teh epicness in the king's armor ;-)

Good thing Victor gave us an update. I'll just stick to playing other chars meanwhile. Or maybe I'll even consider doing something useful... no... unthinkable :P

I hate Ostagr at this point, it is just a bt of a grind untill they finally set me free, Lothering is not so bad as it can be done very quickly and you actually have some real companions, not a horrifically poor rogue who can't even lockpick and the biggest coward of a knight I have ever seen.

The best section for me is the Urn of Sacred Ashes, it feels momentus that you find such a holy relic and it really has a big evil aspect to it with the cult.

By the way, unless you mod the game there is no logical way to get Loghain into the Gauntlet. They probably just created the entries in case someone actually found a way to mod the game that way.

Landsmeet > Orzammar > Elves > Final battle

The rest are ok, the only one I hate is the fade in the tower.

Landsmeet , it's supverb and even more hard than some fights, took me 3 tries to beat Loghain (not the fight but the votes) after that, the Werewolves and elven conflict, supverb!

I like the origins the best, as they are always different with each character. Then, the Landsmeet and the associated quests (Alienage and Arl's estate).

The Final Battle (redeemer ending) - since I like to view the game as a story of redemption.

Followed closely by:

The Landsmeet - so many choices, so many re-loads.

Tower of Magi, especially the trip into the fade when you are forced to go it alone.

Origins, then the circle, then orzammar and the deep roads. Didn't like the Dalish part. The Landsmeet was ok. I did like the frozen abandoned temple during the urn quest. I liked the atmosphere.

Orzammar: It's huge, difficult and I loved the atmosphere.
