On Thursday (May 28) evening we pushed the Dragonslayer Challenges live to be part of the overall challenges.  Here are some details on how they are currently setup, what that means for your progress, and what's being worked on.

 

*UPDATE: On Tuesday (June 2) evening we pushed an update to the dragon kills challenges to track for the party.  Going forward, if you are in a party that kills a dragon, you will be credited with a kill for progress towards the challenge.  This update is not retroactive at this time.  We continue to investigate on the retroactive updates.

  • Avvar
    • Operations Completed  (Not Retroactively updated at this time - Working on this for future update)
    • XP earned  (Retroactively updated)
  • Duelist
    • Operations Completed  (Not Retroactively updated at this time - Working on this for future update)
    • XP earned  (Retroactively updated)
  • Virtuoso
    • Operations Completed  (Not Retroactively updated at this time - Working on this for future update)
    • XP earned  (Retroactively updated)
• Combat
  • Dragons Defeated on Routine  (Not Retroactively updated at this time - Working on this for future update)
  • Dragons Defeated on Threatening  (Not Retroactively updated at this time - Working on this for future update)
  • Dragons Defeated on Perilous - Inferno  (Retroactively updated*)
  • Dragons Defeated on Perilous - Frost  (Retroactively updated*)
  • Dragons Defeated on Perilous - Storm  (Retroactively updated*)
    • * = Perilous Dragon Challenges currently only counting for the player that lands the killing blow.  This is being corrected to be similar to weekend challenges where players must be part of a party that defeats a Perilous Dragon  Working on this for future update
    • UPDATE: All party members that successfully kill a dragon in any difficulty from June 3 and later should now receive progress towards challenge completion.
• Titles, Banners, and Portraits
  • The new challenges currently award a "Call of the Dragon" chest for the 5th star of each challenge.  These chests include a Dragon's Call.  
  • In a future patch, we will update the challenges to include Titles, Banners, and Portraits that are typically associated with Challenges.

Any matches you play, and your progress are safe.  We are tracking progress on these going forward.  We hope to be able to get these updates in soon.
