I'm getting a little confused by the too, just offed 4 High Dragon's on Threatening only to have 2 kills count towards the challenge, I got the killing blow on 3, but weirdly enough, it was the 2 that I used the Dragon's call for that awarded me the challenge progress.

Trust me it's not that.

I've been popping the dragon calls for our group as I have the spare mats.

No credit for threatening for me.

Started frost at 22 on perilous. Did 6. Finished at 24.....so only 2 credited. It's the killing blow for sure.

Definitely KB. I played several rounds of perilous inferno on virtuoso and got no KB or credit. Can't use virtuoso for dragon hunting despite Power Chord owning this weekend's faction.

Same here with different chars , this is no good , it seems like Bioware is saying .

"If you want to make sure you get your kill count , go play solo :)"

I love the game , but this is really making me stop play , because there is no sense on a challenge you can't achieve being with others in a multiplayer game .

Is there any way to have server-side updates like new challenges, chests and weekly events respect the in-game setting for text language? As things stand, it seems to be ignored in favor of going by player's IP/location. That certainly wasn't the case with ME3.

 

Or maybe it works properly and there's just something wrong on my end? Anyone from a non-English speaking country playing DA:I in English got the same problem?

I'm not getting credit for Dragon kills on Routine or Threatening either.  I did a solo on both difficulties and didn't use the catapult to make sure I had the killing blow.  Both kills playing AW.

Is it too late to split the baby down the middle and keep in the 'killing blow' challenge but add in the team challenge as well?

I see no reason we can't have both. Though I'd probably bring down the KB req a bit.

I've been killing High Dragons on routine since Friday with a Virtuoso in group, and since yesterday when rerolling a Duelist, and none have showed up for the routine, even when making the killing blows.

Fixed server side yet? I didn't get the killing blow, but I got credit. I would've known about the killing blow, as the dragon would've exploded

 

Edit: Nevermind, somehow she didn't explode her-- I think.

 

Ugh catapult decided it didn't want to count as killing blow.

 

Gaaaaah even when I blow her up I didn't get credit.

Yeah. I've had catapult not count as kills also.

Did bioware say they were now tracking group even if not currently getting credit. So they can retroactively award credit in a patch?

Maybe if they made it so ppl who used DC got credit for the kill then more ppl wouldn't be so selfish with their DC. lol

Yesterday one of our kills was via trebuchet, and someone asked, "huh, wonder who gets credit for *that*,"  and everyone let out that laugh. That laugh where you can hear a resigned sigh in the tone, because you all know it'll be a while before that to-fix list gets shorter.

 

I didn't even bother to check the challenges afterward. I just have to hope that the claim, that all progress is being tracked and will be updated retroactively, is legit.

Thanks for updating the dragon challenges. I propose a solution to the class challenges based on your promotions of that said class, ex. for every 1 promotion, give us 8-10 games of credit.

At least group getting credit now for dragon kills. 7 perilous storm done tonight

Shame no retroactive yet but thank you for fixing the tracking

EDIT: killing dragon with bolt while it sat on the tower bugged it out and it sat there with wings spread goading us with 0hp

sooooo..  AFTER you kill all the dragons you get 1 dragon call back ..? Why not give a DC after you kill 5, 10, 15?  I have the mats so not too worried about them but can see some people struggle with this..

Anyone have speculation on a date for the patch? They've been in beta for at least a week on it. Next week? 2 more weeks? July?

Well, the patch is currently in beta. Remember that the patch also, once BioWare is happy with it, has to go through the certification process with Microsoft and Sony. And since the patch is only allowed to go live for all platforms the same day, it really comes down to how long it takes for BioWare to settle on a final copy to submit for certification and how long the certification process takes.

Although this is an oldish forum, that would be a nice proposition.  Though it would be nice if you got a bonus ability point for each time you promote your characters.
