Ya'll need to back up off my bae Anders and bffl Velanna! Honestly, there are no companions I overtly dislike. I like some much more than others and find some annoying at times but there is something about every one of them that I like. My least favorite would have to be Sebastion because I haven't bought his dlc yet but from the little I know about him I know we would be instant rivals. And no sex from him either? Thanks but I'll stick with my Abaemination.

A close second in Logain, whom I like as a character but always end up killing so he has never really been a companion of mine. Of all the characters I have had in my party I would have to reluctantly say Sigrun was the one I liked least. As she was part of DLC and not a full 70-80 hour game companion she had much less contant than many others and I felt even less so than the others in Awakening.

I just didn't get to know her as well as the others. On top of that was her epilogue. Each of the other companions in Awakenings, provided they survived, seemed like they had a potential future in upcoming DA games, as we know Anders/Justice did. Characters such as Nathaniel and specifically Velanna with her disappearing body act, seemed to be being set up for future appearances. Should she survive, Sigrun's epiloge on the other hand usually ended up with her going off into the Deep Roads to die, no matter what you do. Not a big future there. Unless there is...

I would love if she and the other Awakening companions come back but of all the Companions in any game, Sigrun is the one I least expect to see again and who's absense would least disappoint me.

This is a much easier one for me.

In contention: Oghren, Velanna, Sebastian, and Anders (DA2)

The winner, by a clear margin, is Sebastian. He's the worst. Hands down.

Sigrun's ending card (like most of the companions in Awakenings) is dependent on her approval/whether you did her companion quest.  From the Wiki entry on "Sigrun" her various epilogue cards (I always got the 3rd or 4th one down):

Epilogue

Note: In Awakening, Epilogue slides are also affected by whether or not the relevant companion quests were completed and how high companions approval has been raised.
  • If the Warden does not do any of Sigrun's companion quests, spares the Architect while Sigrun is present, and passes a persuasion check, Sigrun will lose her purpose after the fight with the Mother. She withdraws from her friends in the Order and speaks to them less each day. One morning, Sigrun is simply absent, her bed made and her trunk emptied. A young recruit who has been up in the night says she left for her Calling.
  • If the Warden spares the Architect without doing any of her quests (joining, companion quest), and fails the persuasion check, she will end up opposing the commander and vanishes into the Deep Roads where she will find her death, this time not running away from it.
  • If the Warden completed her Companion Quest and then says that he/she *doesn't want to lose a friend* after the battle at Vigil's Keep, then Sigrun will stay with the Warden, sometimes leaving him/her, joking about her death, but always coming back.
  • Although Sigrun seemed intent on leaving for her Calling, departing for the Deep Roads to finish what she started in Kal'Hirol, the Warden-Commander had a knack for finding important and absolutely urgent things to occupy the dwarf. And so Sigrun delayed her long walk into the darkness for several decades, even though she never stopped cracking jokes about needing to throw herself at death.
  • If the Warden defends the City of Amaranthine, Sigrun was the one to lead the battle against the Darkspawn during the attack on Vigil's Keep with another army at her back. Once again, she and a legion faced the Darkspawn with no hope of survival. This time she did not run.
  • If the Warden doesn't recruit Sigrun among the Grey Wardens, Sigrun leaves Kal'Hirol for the Deep Roads, to fulfil her duty as a Legionnaire of the Dead. Many years later, a group of Grey Wardens battling in the roads recounted of a perky little dwarf fighting alone and mumbling of her death.

So she can have several entries that lead to her death, several that have her alive years later.  I tend to discount epilogue slides ever since the one I had for Anders had him remaining with the Grey Wardens, when canonically, he leaves them and ends up in Kirkwall.  My Surana never would have taken the cat she gave him away from him or sicced templars on him either, so you have to take these slides with a grain of salt (as maybe rumors you hear) anyway since most just 'tie up loose ends' and don't really matter in the long run if the writers decide to go in another direction.  If they want Sigrun back, they will bring her back, ending slides be damned.

Iron Bull.. Not very funny and handling him without an efficient AI and his Reaver skills it's impossible. He always ends up dead...

My least favorite franchise companion is easy to select: Silas Corthwaite from Leliana's Song. He is added so last minute that his very inclusion seems ridiculous in that dlc? Tug was a much more interesting warrior and his off-camera death was rather moving; that being the case, Silas paled in comparison.

I thought I already answered this, but I guess not.

I strong dislike.. well hate, these two:

1. Oghren: I can't stand him. He's supposed to be funny, but he's opposite of that. My Warden needs: (disgusted noise) option just for him. Too bad BW decided to have him as companion in two games what a waste of spot.

2. Velanna: I can't stand her nor her voice. She's angry all the time, twists your words so she can get offended at you and doesn't take any responsibility of killing humans over a mistake. I can't think even one redeeming quality for her.

Those two are the one's I can't stand, I don't have others I feel so strongly against, but some I mildly dislike are Sera (I don't get her) and Sten (boring).

So far, My most disliked character in DA is Sera. I've tried to warm up to her, but I find her a mix of what I hate most: Childlike and not in a good way, stupid, mentally instable, ignorant, racist.
Too many bad qualities in one pakage, too few reedimable ones. (she has only the "I'm funny card, but I don't find her very funny either.)

Vivienne is definitely the worst, she's just obnoxious. Velana is horrible too. Sebastian is interesting but very poorly integrated to the game. Never liked Fenris, but I don't specifically dislike him either.
I dispised Sera at first but ended up loving her.
I liked Leliana in the first game but hate how she ended up on inquisition

I'm split between the snobbish, vain, smug mage, Vivienne; Or the small minded, short-sighted, ignorant, bratty elf, Sera.

I'll go with Vivienne, because at least you get some more depth with Sera if you friend her enough (cookies on the roof). The only depth we get from Vivienne was that she had a noble lover who dies... and that's it.

I'm gonna go with Sebastian overall.  Vivienne in DAI. But at least she has a useful skillset if I play as a rogue or warrior. I make sure to play a KE Mage most of the time so I don't have to recruit or use her though.

Viv, Velanna, and Sebastian. The last only because they hypocritical high horse he gets on about Anders at the end. Like INVADING a city and killing God knows how many people is better somehow.

Vivienne. I want to stab her every time I talk to her, dear. Stab stab stabbity stab! I would willingly put up with a permanent party of all the runners up if I never had to talk to her again.

Ohgren. I can't stand drunks. I don't find them amusing or funny, or even sad, just disgusting, he stays at camp. Out of all the companions (even Sera) I can find something redeeming. Vivene's determination, Solas's dedication to his people (who ever the hell they are, ancient elves? the other gods?) Iron Bulls lust for life and even Velanna's love for her sister redeem them a bit in my eyes. Not Ohgren though, a one dimensional, messy sloppy pathetic disgusting drunk.

Carver. His attitude (especially when Hawke isn't necessarily antagonising him) left much to be desired. Yes, he claims he has his reasons, but that doesn't excuse his wallowing and brattish acting up in my eyes.

Either Anders or Oghren. Most of the characters I like, even if there's individual things I dislike about them. Others I can take or leave. But these two bother me.

On the one hand, Anders has a greater presence in the series, an unpleasant personality, and does things I disapprove of. There's also him treating Merrill like crap (and everyone else... even Bethany once she's in the Wardens/Circle) and approving of sending Fenris back to Danarius (I know you hate the guy, but seriously?). His attitude is very preachy, even when I'm playing a very pro-mage, anti-Chantry Hawke, he comes across really preachy. That said, part of me does feel sorry for him, and I actually liked him (and Justice) in Awakening, so he's quite a tragic figure too.

Oghren is less complicated. I just find him disgusting and want him to be elsewhere. It doesn't help that his character development was reset in Awakening. These days I don't bother talking to him once he's in the camp.
