It's like we run around the bell to see who wants to spend the Dragon Call.... Non verbal communication at work.
So when we get to the Dragon Bell we stare at each other......

You have to play chicken with them. Make a run for the door. If they follow, chances are they don't have a dragon call or they don't care if there's a dragon or not. If they stand there spamming "over here!" just wait them out.

They should guarantee the user of a dragon call a rare or unique, thus if someone is looking for an item they would use their dragon call instead of everyone staring at each other at the gong.

I used three Dragon's Calls in a row today. This was in perilous, so I didn't really mind. But each time, an AW on the team would say "well done", and I'm still not sure how I feel about that. The following couple of games involved me combing the map for gold instead while they had their own little stand-off.

Then you have people bumrushing over the drawbridge to bang the gong and getting massacred in the process.

Better this then waiting 30 seconds to whatever time around the gong. Usually that's about the time I give someone to ring it before I proceed to click the next door, especially if I am not the host.

And it would be super OP for AW solos.

Yes, a lot of interesting things happen at the Dragon Gong. I've seen players do:
1.) Jump up and down at the gong: "Hey I really don't have one, so not my fault"
2.) Walk all the way to the beginning of the map picking up pots: "I'm not leeching, I'm doing something productive here"
3.) Just wait there: "I did it 10 matches ago, I ain't doing it again"
This is why I so want to complete the set. I want to be that guy who can just run for the door and be: "Take it or leave it"

I have something I really want to say, but a large part of this site has no sense of humor and live their life looking for something to get offended over jokes or not.
The mods support this so I will just sit here and let your mind do the work for us.

I don't use them on threatening. On perilous I take a turn if we do multiple runs as the same group, but not the first turn.
Pretty much.
I'm also a fan of just running for the door and if everyone follows, I know that nobody else has one. Still won't use it if the match looks ready to be lost.
