I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but how do you end a romance.
I'm with Blackwall now, and I have the ability to kiss him. How do I end the romance?

Most of the romances lock after a certain point and you are unable to end their romances. Blackwall locks pretty early.

You're not permanently stuck - just wait until the scene in the Inquisitor's room after you do the personal quest to retrieve the badge (the one in the Storm Coast) and break up with him then. Besides, if you don't want him, I'll take him off your hands.

I forgot about that one, likely because I had no interest in breaking up at that point.  You can also break up after Revelations.

It depends. You'll get an option to break up if you're early enough in the romance, but there's a point of no return, after which you're locked in.

Most of the romances have the option to "break up" after you're locked in. But there is a point during the progression where you're sort of in limbo because at that point the NPC thinks you're interested, so you just have to wait until you can break their heart if you want out (you bastard*).

I would suggest gifting them a small token or memento, perhaps a pen, to soften the blow, then simply explain how someone of your social status has certain expectations and responsibilities that someone of their, rather lower, social status simply cannot meet.

I'm sure they will understand.
