Blank Tapestry

I was trying to make some changes to a World State but when I went into the Keep, all I got was a blank Tapestry screen. In the upper right corner is the message 'Not Synced" but when I try to click on the few icons that do display in the top banner, they turn red but do nothing. And yet, when I started a new game, it picked up the World State I have been using lately. I just can't get at anything in the Keep to create a new World State or make changes to an existing one. Also, I get the same blank Tapestry page whether I access the Keep from the game menu or from my web browser. I have rebooted my computer twice, and I made sure I was logged in. I'm using the same browser that I've always used and it has always worked in the past. But I haven't visited the Keep in over a month. I don't know if that has anything to do with my issue. I only have the one account so I know it is the right one and it's the same one I have been using all along..

Anyone have any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. I went on Dragon Age Keep to check if my current playthrough had the correct world state loaded, as opposed to the other three or four world states I created. Not only was I unable to go through all my world states, I couldn't view anything, just a blank screen. I'm not tech-savvy, but my guess would be the EA servers or something are down?

I might agree with you but other people seem to be working fine, At least I'm not seeing other complaints about similar problems, aside from yours. And it's been a couple of days now. This is irritating. First my old BSN account quit working and after repeated attempts over several years, no one could fix it so I just gave up. I was able to import a few very old DAO characters to the Keep so I worked with them. I guess now it doesn't matter because I can't access the Tapestry to even modify the World States I had, much less create new ones. I can't believe BioWare Support has gone so far downhill since EA took over. What's weird is that DA II Champions always imported correctly. I don't care if I never import another DAO Warden. I just want to access the Tapestry so I can build or modify the World States I have.

It's got to be a bug, the site isn't even giving me the option to sign out or do anything. The site automatically signs me out if I haven't been using it for a few hours, so the next time it prompts me to sign in with my Origin account I will try creating another account and see if the keep loads up fine then. If so, I'll try signing BACK into my original account and see if it does anything. Feel like I'm clutching at straws by here though. I have tried loading up the keep on my laptop, PC, mobile phone, PSN browser... same result. It's frustrating to be honest, I think I have the world state I want imported to the game already but I won't be able to access and modify other world states or create future ones.
If this was some sort of common connection issue or a problem on our part though, surely there would be a 'Sign out' button or something so that we could presumably log into an account that is synced or create another one? My point is, this seems more like a glitch than anything.

Are you using any adblock programs or tracking protection?

Have you tried a different browser and network?

I use Norton and whatever it does. I do not understand security enough to mess with the default settings. I know it blocks some ads, but not all. It claims to do identity protection, but I have no idea what that means or if that is what you meant by tracking protection. Sorry. I only have the one Browser, Internet Explorer 11.0, and I really don't want to mess with anything else because of the learning curve. I'm not sure what you mean when suggesting that I try a different network. Are you talking about Internet carriers? Wireless vs. wired? Different network cards? I not sure how to answer that.

Okay my Dragon Age Keep is fixed. I created a new Origin account, signed in with that one and followed the introduction steps until it led me to modify the tapestry. Everything on this new account worked fine so I logged out and signed in with my actual account and the tapestry loaded up just fine. Everything works, I can view my other world states, modify them, export them... This was done on a laptop on a google chrome browser, if that means anything. It's a pain in the arse but try creating another account and see if this works for you too.

I've had the same problem, and making another account did nothing to fix it. As soon as I logged in with another account it was the same reaction of a blank tapestry.

Hmmm, I wish there was something I could suggest. I've been searching for this problem over the internet and no one's ever experienced this before. When the website was first put up there were apparently some issues with error messages and whatnot, but nothing like what we've described. My guess is a lot more people are going to start experiencing this problem. If you are unable to fix your DA Keep, your best bet is to wait for the problem to affect more users so that EA releases a fix. This is EA, however...

I tried a second Origin account that I had from a while back, and  like what Kestnah experienced, it also had the same problem. I have posted to the EA support community. Maybe between the two, someone has an answer. If not, maybe I will try giving support a call, when I have a few hours to waste while I wait for an answer.

Good luck to you, MrsChilvers. Enjoy the game.

Thanks Iduchek ^_^ But I suggest as a last resort to make another origin account. There's no reason to believe that will work if another already existing account doesn't work, but it's what I did, plus it doesn't require you to validate your email address or anything so you can just give it any random email address you want. Worth a try! Good luck getting your DA Keep working again :)

If you've not already done so, you could try clearing your browser cache, or use an incognito window to do a similar effect (Ctrl-Shift-N in Chrome, Ctrl-Shift-P in most other browsers).  It's possible a recent update has resulted in an error on your machine.

If that doesn't work you could try re-loading it and watch the browser console (F12 / Ctrl-Shift-J) and see if any obvious errors are flagged during the load of the Tapestry.  If there are, that might give an idea on the cause of the error and how to correct it.

I appreciate everyone's help. I don't know how or why, but today the Keep is working. I guess something I did caused my problem and something else I did fixed it. I was trying so many different things last night, but as I checked whether they worked or not, the Tapestry was still blank. Then this morning, without doing anything, everything seems to be working. FM, I guess.
