I cant click either configure or play on my dao launcher.  i have found the config in the bin folder and after i do that and go back to the launcher they are still greyed out and i cant click them.  help please.   Thanks.

I have the same problem. I believe it has to do with your firewall. I kept getting security allerts for a .exe file in the dragon age folder - bin folder. When I choose to 'deny access', the game wont start. Now I dont know how to undo this

I just found it, I moved the exe. file from quarantine, so it can again make contact with the internet. Now the play and configure options are normal again, and I can play.



Just search in your firewall I guess.

well i didnt have anything in my quarantine so i just uninstalled my antivirus and firewall. still nothing, thanks for your response tho.

Hi there,



You have to make sure that you have

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe

in the folder.



If not, uninstall the game, turn off your antivirus and windows firewall (though I think it is enough with the antivirus) and install again. It should work. Double check if you have the file.

Ok thanks guys. I didnt have the file because my antivirus deleted it from the folder so I turned it off and reinstalled the game, everything works fine now. Thanks alot!
