I can see your point, but I personally didn't mind the extra challenge. This ultimately was an experiment to see if we liked specific permutations of spawns. We are kind of the running guinea pigs for their evil experiments. As a villain yourself, Mr. Dastardly, you should understand.

I hope they continue to tinker with the game like this. It keeps things interesting in a game that up until about a month ago was very stale.

The last two sentences of motiv's post are pure gold. And no matter how ridiculous a weekend challenge is those two sentences maintain my enthusiasm

Edit: for those of you complaining about the weekend event, some of us DAMP vets remember the days when the weekend didn't automatically mean there was going to be an event. Or the very first days, when weekend events didn't even exist.

Very first days? It took ages until they started off.

And I rather have people move on about what they like or not than having nothing to be annoyed or happy about.

If anything this challenge proves that players should be given a stun/stagger/knockdown and revive immunity period (or have it extended). I hated playing the Aavar this weekend and I'm sure the other 2H kits didn't fare much better. Getting repeatedly knocked down gets old after like Zone 1 of the first game. No point in rehashing archer stun locking.
