It looks like the xbox one is going to get updated this fall so that it can play xbox 360 games and if I'm correct you can still play 360 games with your 360 friends.

I've been playing ME1 on the Xbox 361 and it's the same as it ever was, but in the near future I will be all about H5G, FO4 and Battlefront

Sony basically won E3 but the future of Xbone is looking bright imo, check out the new Dashboard which will come equipped with an old friend

So how does one play ME1 on the xboxone?  I did a little searching around and found no real instructions.  Do you just insert the ME1 disc into Xbone?

If you are in the preview program like me, just throw in the ME1 disc and let it install.

The one emulation update isn't out yet... Or rather, it's for Preview members at the moment. Not sure when it's rolling out... shouldn't be that long.

 

As for how to do it, that's my understanding. You can insert a disc, and it'll download what you need.

 

Emulation update wont be out to the public till november if iirc. Preview members have access now though, want me to invite you guys?

thing is i planned to get ihe console latter this year but i was pushed into getting it Via cattalogue.

so i got the console but not the planned cheep HD tv. my sister is looking for one on Freebies.

The 360 is my favorite video game console that I have owned. It was when I first got really-super-serious into gaming. I had owned a PSX, PS2, GameCube, and several handhelds before owning a 360, but the 360 (with Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 specifically) really kickstarted my gaming... "term", for lack of a better word (Career? No, that makes it sound like it's my job, but I do spend more time playing than I do pretty much anything else). I got pretty damn good at Gears 2, Gears 3, and Halo 3, Reach, and 4, but my Halo skills kind of dropped off after I stopped playing them for a long time. Still a high level Gears veteran though. Backward compatibility for the Xbox One and Gears 3 will be beating up all of my time until Gears 4 releases.

same im no compleationist i have owned a PS 1 2 and 3. . well the 3 was for a hour till it crashed then i got my 360 and never looked back.. then i owned another 360 then another.. all in im on my 5th. oh you better give me 2 free games a month.

Halo 2 and 3 are what set me into the gaming world too. I used to play alot of nintendo games on the SNES and N64 when I was a kid, but Halo 2 is what took it to the next level back in 2004. 

 

I'd say Mass Effect is probably what pushed me into RPG's.
