hey you guys remember that time that flashpoint...flashfire...whatever it is was shared between the whole team and it sucked and messed up your playstyle and then bioware fixed it?

Cant tell if this is sarcasm but its still broken.

Flashpoint is not broken. If two Elementalists are in the team and both have flashpoint active and one uses an ability both flashpoint markers go away but the one who didn't use it still has it. And if you play enough Ele you will know when you have flashpoint active without looking

on my console its broken.  If I have flashpoint and the other ele casts it goes away....if I cast after that my spell has to recharge.

next time I'm in a room with another ele I will try it out to make sure....it happened pretty recently though.

I think what's happening there is that you're seeing the other ele's flashpoint marker even though you don't have flashpoint. And it's not just flashpoint, I often see other people's fallback plan markers even when I don't have it on my character.

That's also what happens. You have to watch your criticals. Also it has a 10 second cooldown

well i think we can all agree something is wrong with it.  It needs addressed I think.

I will say if I am the only ele playing I feel like I can get it back before a 10 second time limit.  I agree the issue first talked about could easily be the fact I didn't have one in the first place and the game just tells me I have it.

If you have high attack, Crit chance and Crit damage you can use it for the damage - why not?

Otherwise, it is better as a pure CC.

Is it really that hard to accept that some people dislike certain abilities? That doesn't make them bad teammates or that they aren't good players. Come on now.

EB is still terrible, and the party effectiveness would be much higher with another ability.

Tell me with a straight face that EB is awesome as a duelist (or other high burst dps kit) kills the EB target before the projectiles even land, or when the party's virtuoso is being stagger locked because the Elementalist took EB instead of FW, or stabbed by shadows by taking EB instead of FM or FS.

You'd be either dumb or a liar.

Heck on Threatening and below even Immolate would beat out EB as immolate's instant damage would actually kill things on Threatening and Routine.

FRZN, you're absolutely correct here. It is a display error that the flashpoint buff will appear for both ele's despite only one of the actually having it.

Sometimes, people play to have fun. They might use abilities that aren't as effective as others because they enjoy them more. Or maybe they are skilled players who don't need to use the best builds to do well.

If someone is a good teammate, I really couldn't care less about their build.

Also Alchemists are Kill On Sight.

No need, they're usually in the fade by zone 3 anyway.

That's not true. Myself and plenty of other people play Alchemist and don't bring down the team..just break graphics cards and enemies faces, that's her job

But but... The Fire, all over and around you, the earth shaking, the vision blurring, the boom boom of the sound of earth cracking, the scream of the enemy saying "Omg repent your sins"(Actually not true), i dunno the rest but when i play melee and i get fire strike support my blood Boils, so any of the next could happen:

Lego - Counter Strike

Katari- Spinning attack

Templar - You know....

Alchemist - Fire F, and Twin Fang Spams

Reaver - go on a date with Rampage

Also Combos...

I use Firestorm and then drop dual fire walls in the middle. People probably hate me.

You should hold a training course then.

Most of the alchemists I run into are spectating most of the match.

It's funny, I have run my last few games with my alchemist poison farming build and for some reason have topped the boards each time(in PUGs). I can't quite figure out where I'm getting this XP from (5-6k on threatening).

I should try a FoFire+EM or FoFrost+shatter build and see if my XP drops way down.

They problem is that most of them like to join the melee fight, or stay close to those fighting.

I just flask of fire then spray mines everywhere (which will poison then kill dropping poison clouds)Then running to different groups (usually in stealth) dropping poison clouds and trying to poison everyone,. When they die the drop more poison clouds
