Hi all!
Project Q and CEP is best of projects for NWN. But no one new versions of CEP from April 2015, and Project Q from April 2014 (!!!).
Project Q and CEP is dead or still live? And any news about of merging Project Q with CEP in CEP 3 or other?

CEP 2.61 is the most recent update, and was well overdue, so that's what the community has to work with right now.
Project Q, I do not know myself.
They're clearly not dead, because they're available and both packages offer a lot of content to a builder.

I've retired and passed Project Q over to the custodianship of The Amethyst Dragon - who is also the CEP guy. My guess is he'll be merging Q into CEP at some point. Its a ton of content, but the end results will be worth the wait.
Do you plan to release a final Q build with all the content of the updater with it as RAR file? I ask because I primarily use Q, and not CEP, with my server.

The Dragon mentioned somewhere he was in the middle of moving across the country or somesuch and would be hard to reach for a while. Let him deal with real life for a bit and he'll get back to NWN in due time.

Yeah, he moved out of state right after I moved in, the bum! ;-P Missed my wedding, too :-/ He couldn't stand the heat so he got out of the Hitchin' =)

(p.s. For anyone who doesn't know, I love Big Purple like a brother. Actually, better than most of my brothers :-P So don't take my teasing wrong, please. Hate to get banned or anything ;-)

There is a .7z archive on the Vault that has the latest v2 build of Q. Nothing has been added to the updater since that version was released.
It HAS been the policy of Q to release a full archive download each time a new version rolls out. In the past, files uploaded to the updater between releases were hotfixes. If hotfixes were significant enough - e.g. a fix for a bug that made Q unusable - then it was considered a bug that necessitated a new version update release. Fortunately, with the extensive play-testing, Q always avoided such issues.

not to add into this in a ngeative way but i hear this so often it gets tireing, the projects arent "dead" and perhaps never will be. Project Q is the most up-to-date and finished product you can find! cep will always never die because of the insurmountable content that is on the vault even now
