The N7 Valkyrie. Actually I could just have a long rant about all the assault rifles, they seem to be heavy, do negligible damage or are just slow with little ammo to make sure the DPS doesn't peak, but the Valkyrie seems worse than most, granted I have it at low levels, but for a ultra rare it has an irritating two shot burst with a horrible climb on it. What am I missing with the assault rifles? It seems that the SMG's and heavy pistols seem to do more or the less the same things between them but with a little more efficiency.

It's a Head Shot machine. I use it on almost all of the Batarian's or the Turian Havoc.

^^ Video is hilarious. yes, the gun should have been a Rare, not an Ultra Rare. I really like it specifically for the Head Shot multiplier it gets.  If you cant get the 20 Head Shot medal by Wave 3-4 against Collectors or Cerberus  there really is no hope for you with head shots      period.

Try using a scope on the rifle it has really bad crosshair spread which throws me off personally (similar to the saber). I use it on the TGI and can do very well with it as a longer range battle rifle. Also go for headshots it performs much more effectively with consistent headshots.

I use the Valkyrie on the Asari Adept... works nicely with Stasis. Headshots nonstop.

The Valkyrie is a headshot machine if you bring the stability mod or scope to account for the fact that without one of them, the second shot ends up in no man's land.

 

Also, I'd probably argue that the SMG is overall the worst weapon class in the game.

ALL WEAPONS ARE GREAT if you properly select:
1- the right weapon mods.
2- the right character.
3- the right powers.
4- the right accesories.
5- the right ammo.
6- the right weapon equipment.

You do the right things and you will do the right damage with ANY weapon, even with power+power+lighter weapon instead of weapon+headshot+weapon.

On topic, the Valkyrie is a great gun, especially on the TGI, important to aim for as many headshots as possible, if you are not top scoring random gold/platinum lobbies with TGI/Valkyrie you are doing something wrong, it's that good.

Than again what A/R doesn't look good in the hands of the TGI; barring the herp-a-derp style, terrible lag, or a new player 

 

I personally like the heavy barrel and extended clip with incendiary ammo on the Valkyrie.  In the hands of any turian, the quarksman, or destroyer it's very new player friendly as it dishes out major punishment even if headshots aren't your thing.

I'll take Valkyrie over Harrier. 

 

Yes the Harrier is better in almost every way, but Valkyrie is more fun to me. it's really cool to chain headshot after headshot after headshot.
