Hidy ho all,

I have ME 1 & 2, and I beat them both quite a few times.  1 I finished something like 10 times, and 2 I finished 7 times.  I've had to re-install my OS once or twice since I fired up 2, and I seem to have lost my ME2 saves.

Now, I like 2, but after beating it 7 times, I'm having trouble stomaching annother play through.  So I picked up the genesis DLC, hoping I could use that to re-create my character from 2.

But I can't find a way to launch that dlc.

So, how does one start up Genesis 2?

You must create your character and then once you've confirmed, it will ask you if you want to go through the Dark Horse Comic: ME Genesis 2. It will be the last step. Are you on PC?

What the above said. There are a few things it won't cover btw.. any of the sidequest content (not to there's a lot that would carry through), and you can't romance Thane/Samara/or Jack.

Just play ME2. It's an awesome game. And still the best of the trilogy.

Or so I think.

Thats proving to be the problem for me.  Like I said, I beat that game 7 times.

imho, the first one was better.  less structured on destinations, more thought went into the little things (the crews cross-talk, animation not triggering when you don't leave someplace), and the driving (while tedious) is better then probing for resoruces.  the maximiser in me wants to get the resoruces, the rest of me whats to just finish the game.

Thats not to say it doesn't have its upsides.  Quite the opposite, it is a fun game.  And I recomend it frequently.  But the little things can make or break a game for me.  expecially when the previous title took them into account.

Fair enough. I don't know much about the PC version.. so maybe there are more options. Like editing an existing save file if you can get one.

Some options are unavailable (I'll put this in spoiler tags in case you don't wish to know):

Yeah, I was just about to mention those too.

It sucks... unless you're on the Wii.

If you're on PC, use Save Editor. I go through ME2 with lots and lots of goodies. It's funner with Save Editor. I would recommend downloading it and playing your new save with it.
