Windows 7 is perfect, why would I want a newer one?

 

I'm enjoying it with my Core i5 PC with 8GB ram right now.

Windows 7 is perfect, why would I want a newer one?

Because my laptop battery lasts longer, and the start time went from 3 minutes until I could open a program to 30 seconds.

Because it's a more efficient OS and it's free.

No way I'm going to shift from 7 to 10. If they're really giving it you away for free in a year, I'll wait six more months and see which are the casualties.

Did anyone see this?   I got it from the EULA of Windows 10. On the surface this sounds worrying.
