I don't know if a similar idea has been made yet, or something close to it. I thought it might be cool if there was an option to create a Solo room what would allow you to play by yourself using your online characters. To also set-up an option to allow the player to select up to 4 of their own characters to play with. The first slot could be what the player will use and the other selected would just follow and defend the player by default. Would be a nice way to level up multiple characters up at the same time, and free up a little bit of some lag glitches.

A single-player option is the only way I would ever play the multiplayer.

why?

Some people just don't dig multiplayer. I can sympathize (and in fact, I think DAI's multiplayer is pretty bad).

Part of it, though, for me, is that we get all sorts of fun new abilities that aren't available in the single player campaign, but we don't have the freedom to really play around with them, because we're stuck derping around a multiplayer arena with a bunch of people who are solely interested in finishing the match.

ME3 was the same way. While I actually did have fun for a while with ME3's MP, I really resented the fact that all these really cool, fun abilities were unobtainable in SP.

It would be a great help on XBox one, where finding pick-up groups (PUGs) can be challenging.

why?

I play games because I enjoy them. They are a leisure activity.

Interacting with people like that is both unenjoyable and stressful. I wouldn't do it by choice.

I agree with you so much that I would venture as far as let you in my single-player multi-player if there was one.

Natually you got several different types of people that play the game.

The regular RPG gamers, usually trying to experience every part the game has to offer. Usually the easiest to form good teamwork with.

The quick rushers/solo, that all try to rush through everything. Fortunately either preventing others from getting any other pick-ups or grabbing to much for themselves to handle, only making it harder for everyone else when they do so.

And who can forget the usual game campers. The one and only types that join and sit there the whole time doing nothing other than waiting to collect from what everyone else is doing.

Yes it is always a mix between the type of players, and very stressful to get everyone to get on the same page.

I feel the need to say it again... if I wanted to play an MMO, I'd have stuck to WOW. Or SWTOR. Or RIFT. Or ESO. So, you missed a category: those of us who DON'T fit in a Dragon Age MultiPlayer category.
