I am trying to solo through Jaw of Hakkon in nightmare recently, really challenging. Just got to the island and beat those LV 30 despair demons. here is the link:

 

 

 

Main stats is like Attack/Critical Chance around 55~60%, with 32% magic defense in armor and extra 10% by Inquisition perk.

 

But to be honest it is not the hardest fight I have got in the DLC so far. In the original game I root a lot and craft best gears so I have to force myself not to use any potion, focus or bomb but still find it is too easy. But in the DLC, those 4K- damage-shot archers and ice mages really give a big trouble to my champion. Actually the ambush in the island later was so hard so I had to use one bomb to take out the mage first. Even so still tried like 5 times to pass. God hope I can stick to finish this soloing journey....

Good luck. I went through the dlc as duo team with a necro and sera tempest but soloed a bunch of fights for fun. With rogue tempest archer it was easier cause I could always interchange between stealth and flask of lighting and never get hit but taking out enemies one by one took time as they have lots of hitpoints. The 1000 archers Island fight and the temple after the ice wall were the most challenging.
