Just out of curiosity.
Which biotic characters do you play with ammo that is not warp rounds?

Human Adept, with no ammo.
I'm setting enough biotic explosions that a few Phalanxes to the head is all I need.

Volus adept - incendiary
Warp is the go to ammo for every other adept but there are 2 exceptions.
Asari adept - drill (when using weapons that can kill stasis'd enemies in a few shots; carnifex, paladin, valiant and saber)
Asari Justicar - cryo (b/c pulling frozen enemies and shattering them with reave or bubble is lulzy)
Non-adept biotic characters like valkyrie and huntress get warp ammo. A few of my vanguards use warp ammo as well.

Human Sentinel with Incendiary.
Not sure if the Vorcha/KroLord Sentinels count, as they aren't really "biotic" in the conventional sense, but I use incendiary/disruptor on those.
Sometimes I'll use AP/Drill ammo if the weapon's mods don't cover armour piercing.

What is the point of using Warp Ammo if you already have Warp?

Extra damage versus barriers, armor and health. Even more damage when the defense type is biotically primed except for shields.

Incendiary is fun on the KroGuard because shoot a bit and then BC - detonates an FE for extra impact. And if you're too chicken to charge, you can detonate the FE with Carnage, unless you do the hipster BSN thing and spec out of it completely ![]()

You might as well use AP/Incendiary ammo if you have warp. I only use warp ammo with Dark Channel and Reave.

Insane Warp ammo damage on Biotically primed targets. Plus debuff from Warp.

I always use incendiary with the volus adept, to get explosions on armored enemies.
Otherwise, I can also use incendiary rounds on characters who mainly prime with Warp (so not the human adept), but less systematically.

Depending on the weapon, sometimes I'll use incindiary with the Vanilla Adept. Other than that, I would think the other ammo types hinder biotic explosions. Except for AP or Drill rounds, but I'm more likely to use the weapon mod for piercing
Phasic rounds don't hinder biotic explosions and work very well on adepts. I still use Warp rounds almost all the time, unless I know I'm going to be playing Geth, but Phasics are extremely effective.

True, but I have so few that I like to save them for sniping

I specifically use Phasics on my SmashBros for this purpose.
Phasics with an Acolyte offers a purposeful megaboost that frees up slots for a Melee Stunner and a Strength amp.

- every kit with Warp cause "clever use of game mechanics" and stuff
- Vanguards cause firesplosions

Potentially any because ammo choice depends on the weapon and enemy faction about as much as the character.
I rarely play Turian Sentinel with WA though. Almost always AP / Drill if not IA.

TSent/Kroguard: pimp hand rounds are strong enough for me.
Vanilla Vanguard/Slayer: inc ammo...from time to time.
