play CS spamming Cryo Soldier all day long
It would be neat if it did something totally different, like slow the rate of fire of the enemy, or have a small chance of turning them into snowmen.
Has anyone watched Frozen?
Only if my character bursts into song randomly while using them with "Do you wanna build a snowman?" because I haven't heard that song fifteen million times in my house. Krolord most likely has the best singing voice of all MP characters.

In ME2, frozen enemies were counted as ragdolled, and took double damage. They should have continued that practice. Would have made Cryo ammo a lot more attractive.

The ammo powers are incredibly powerful in ME3, too. 5b evo: 25% headshot dmg bonus and 6b evo: explosive inferno ammo are just two highlights.
I only use Cryo Ammo when I'm sniping, because it's funnier when things shatter instead of their heads popping.
But I think it's kinda a good thing that it doesn't work the same as (most of) the other ammos - why bother having 5+ versions of the same thing?

They don't do Cryo splosions on everything ![]()
nor does it have its own niche if you ain't gonna play CS spamming Cryo Soldier all day long.
I do love my Cryo Soldier, but still, The only things I have more of than Cryo Ammo are the Stability Dampener and Explosive Ammo...
I like Cryo ammo on some things, but it would be nice to have a damage modifier on it, I agree. My buddy swears by it though. His signature build is a DA with the Falcon and Cryo ammo. Sounds meh but he kills it.
Any of the effects that I think would help Cryo are:
> Give it a base damage increase that works against all defense types
> Damage taken by target increased
> Damage dealt by target reduced
> Target accuracy or rate of fire reduced
As for Explosive Ammo since we're here: Increase radius, remove maximum damage cap, remove delay before explosion, make it not stagger everything, greatly increase damage dealt, cause it to reduce the weapon's rate of fire.

On more thought, another idea I had:
Cryo Rounds - Slows movement by 15/25/35/35%, Weakens armour by 25/35/50/65%, Has a 15/20/25/35% chance to not consume ammo(for balance reasons, this unfortunately can't stack with Heat Sink). Primes for cryo explosions and freezes unprotected targets.
Introduce Snowblind Rounds - Deals 5/10/15/25% damage to all defenses, slow movement by 15/25/35/35%, weaken armour by 25/35/50/65%, reduce target accuracy by 10/20/30/45%. Freezes unprotected targets.
Sinful says if only you were a grill.
EDIT - better add "then you'd have it all." Just so it don't sound rude and in turn this account avoids another suspension from who knows who has it for Sinful today. All this formality is choking Sinful and ruining jokes.

Explosive Inferno Ammo is obscene. It turns the Tempest into a weapon of mass destruction.
Short answer - no, I still wouldn't use it, probably.

I like 2 the most, just to differentiate it from any other ammo. Although that should be balanced veeery carefully.

Would it? If an enemy is frozen, it's on health, which means he's basically as good as dead. I'd still never use cryo ammo just the same.

I heartly endorse this product and/or service!
I think if Cryo rounds would just apply 5/7.5/10/15% debuff to enemies besides its current form, that would be totally balanced.

Thats what i think too, for the same duration as the armor weakening effect, and maybe a cap at 25 % if 2 player are using cryo ammo
But 3 and 4 of cyonan is good too

Smoke rounds. When they hit an enemy, the enemy is enveloped in Cerberus-style smoke that prevents them from both seeing the players and targeting them. Health-only enemies are afflicted with coughing and sneezing. Duration and radius of smoke cloud depends on ammo level.

Enemy down to health should forget why they R here too ![]()
Cryo round in ME4 should stack snow on the enemies. That way with a full team of cryo ammo users, you can turn enemies into snowman! How cool is that!
What's with the Sinful's everywhere? ![]()

Oh, now this one is interesting. Maybe enemies hit by Cryo rounds take longer to "lock" on, or maybe they are unable to "lock" on at all during the duration of the "chill" effect.
Cryo is my most-used ammo type, it slows enemies down and weakens their armor. Plus my Salarian Engineer needs it to be a demi-god since he doesnt have a Cryo-based power
