So, from the moment i got the Reaver for me dwarf male warrior i have had a blast and ripped things even 3-4 levels above me with ease doing 800-1000 damage all the time.

Then when i came to the servants quarters in the winter palace i just cant seem to do damage anymore.  :(

I am doing the same i have always done with the Reaver and the enemies are even at my exact level but i just seem to do 100-200 damage instead of my usual 800-1000.

What happend as soon as i got into that mission, anyone know?

I can provide more info on my build and such if need be.

Just equip your and your companions armor and weapons. You are basically "naked" once you leave the party and start exploring the palace. ;)

I was going to make a comment about enemy armor rating and keeping your weapons leveled up appropriately, but it seems like you have lost more damage than you would expect from something like that.

I don't recall the mission itself being drastically different in terms of enemy strength compared to similar level Venatori or Demons in other areas.

If you didn't change your build, and re-equipped the correct weapons and armor, I would be at a loss to explain that much damage loss.  There isn't just a bit of recall bias going on is there?  Like remembering crits with other bonuses compared to standard hits on this mission perhaps?

Maybe posting the build and details on your gear would help.

My bad here, i equipped one of my old weapons and forgot all my rings and that for damage increase.

I feel really really stupid right now.

No worries.  I was just saying how I forgot to switch staffs the first time and went after the Frostback with the one I was using for Begritt's bears.  It had a good laugh at my forgetfulness before it died.  What I usually do before leaving for Halamshiral is entirely forget to equip potions.
