I just got a message when i started playing origins that my profile has been corrupted and settings or something have been set back to defaults? What is this a reference to? Is it one of my game files or something else?
Actually, it says profile data. Not sure if that clarifies things or not.
Now I've lost all access to the items you get for beating the various DLC, even though I beat them long ago. I've recently got the epilogue and a postgame save, it's just that they're not showing up. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the profile data being corrupted means it's somehow lost record of me going through the DLC and as a result I may have to go through the DLC again to unlock them again.
If you're having an issue with Origin it may be more productive to post over on the EA Answer HQ - Origin forum.
I can't really speak to what caused it, but I can definitively say that going through the DLC again seems to unlock the DLC items permanently. I went through Leliana's Song again and recreated the Battledress Armor, and it got it to show up again in my post-epilogue save. I imagine going through the remainder of the DLC will enable the remainder of the DLC items, even if it's a bit strange to do it with the Achievements already done. I do hope in time something shows up in the EA Answer HQ Origin forum, because i would like to know what the cause was if only to avoid this happening again in the future.
Moved this back to unsolved because things are still glitchy. I get the full DLC items in Awakening, but now nothing shows up in Origins and I get the corrupted message whenever I start Origins. I'll just continue to check back with the Answer HQ and hope in time I get a response and/or this solved.
Just re-install the game?
